which web browser. / myLot

there are so many different browsers to choose from, the common one is internet explorer, but i like using opera or mozzilla firefox, which do you like?

Safer? A quick visit to Secunia will reveal that Firefox has both more currently-unpatched (as of this writing) vulnerabilities (4 to 0) and more security vulnerabilities than Opera overall and over time. Faster? Wrong again; Opera beats Firefox in just about every category, most notably with scripts: http://www.howtocreate.co.uk/browserSpeed.html

True. Firefox is widely known as "safer" because since he wasn't very popular the virus and attacks were mainly made for Internet Explorer but now that it's well known it's not safer like it usually did. Now the "new guy" is Opera.

I have always prefered Mozilla Firefox. My husband used to use internet explorer, but their latest update really annoyed him, and like me, he's now using Firefox at work and at home.
