The character is Kaede Fuyou.

That is beautiful! I love the colors, but can't quite make out the pattern. I get a feeling of serenity from it. You're very talented to be able to sew an entire quilt--I learned how to make a quilt square in Girl Scouts, but that was 24 years ago (and I don't sew by hand anymore!). Thanks for sharing!

That's a very nice picture! My daughter absolutely refuses to get her picture taken with me, so unless I use some creative computer wizardry, it's not going to happen. Thanks for sharing!
