My wedding will be a medium sized wedding, held at a local park.... well if we stop playing phone tag with the coordinator. We had been offered (although jokingly, it did seem quite serious... she may allow it) a back yard to have our wedding in, and it is a nice size.

My sister is getting married in the fall, and hers will be a back yard wedding =) I am so excited, we get to fly up and visit my family too.

We are getting married in three months we are having a HUGE wedding. We wanted a family and close friends only wedding... and it's still HUGE because we come from outrageously large families. So our guest list is looking like 400 people. But we're keeping it simple and nice and fun. So it should still be good. And surprisingly we're keeping it under 5000 dollars total! So we're proud of ourselves.

I am having about 150 people at my wedding, not sure if some consider that to be big or small.

Small and memorable, special and meaningful. =) My husband and I got married in a five minute ceremony with lots of love and not a lot of words, with our baby present, and one friend for a witness. It far outweighed my first wedding, which was bigger than I wanted, in a chapel with a minister, lots of people in the wedding party, and all the traditional junk. I think maybe someday it would be fun to do a vow renewal and host a big party for friends - something that I could design and wear a dress for. I did not wear a wedding dress, I didn't miss it really but I think I'd like my husband to see me in one someday.

Awwww congrats girl !!! I wanna see pictures when it happens ! As for me, I think I'd prefer a small private ceremony, and then just have a big reception for all our friends and family.

For me it would be a small wedding. Especially if we are the ones paying for it. My son and his wife had a small wedding with only there closest friends. They got married out in the country. There were no houses around and the trees were beautiful. It only cost them a small amount and they could use what they would have for a large wedding towards things they would need after they were married.

Congratulations to you. So, when is the big day that you have planned? I think that a small and intimate reception is more valuable and priceless than those grand and meaningless ones. Take care and have a happy marriage in future.

First up, congratulations! I prefer a small ceremony - much more personal and very heartfelt. Aside from that, the cost of the whole event won't be much expensive, too!

Congratulations bustababy!! I think that wedding must be memorable and happy and nothing more. If you and your fiance want a small wedding do that. I'm sure that will be a lovely wedding because both have love in heart.

I had a small wedding in church and later a dinner of two tables with my husband's family and cousins. That's all. We kept it small and simple. Didn't want to spend alot and also tire ourselves out with all the preparations. We did minimal preparations.

I'd rather have a small but very solemn wedding. Small but very romantic. With only family members and very close friends invited. Best Wishes!!!

Neither. I want a lot of grandeur, but not a lot of people. Well, I don't know a lot of people anyway. Hopefully it turns out nice. (5 weeks and counting) Good luck with yours!

first, congratulations! i am wishing you the best that life can offer for both of you. for me, i would really like to have a big but intimate wedding where all our friends and families would be there to celebrate this special day. i want to have a garden or beach wedding but i think my religion requires it to be held at the church. goodluck!
