Why do you choose Firefox? Security? Speed? Looks? I personally choose it because of the Speed and the Security.

I think it is because of the speed.

If it's speed and security you're after, why don't you use Opera? Firefox is hardly faster than IE, and it is my understanding that not only is IE7 more secure than Firefox from the gate, but even IE6 can be if you tweak the options. Opera really does have fewer vulnerabilities than IE, and there's no dispute that it's faster than other browsers...a lot faster. Also, it doesn't hang on a pageload (neither does IE), like Firefox does if you leave it idle for too long (like when you type a post in myLot). Most of these wonderful perks you hear about Firefox are subjective hype from the open source community: http://home.comcast.net/~SupportCD/FirefoxMyths.html In my experience, Firefox is too unstable for viability. And being a repair technician, I am quite literally a Nazi about stability.

First of all, because it is neat and also faster especially when downloading. The interface is quite good and also customizable, since we can download themes, and Firefox also has a lot of useful add ons. However, I don't really like Firefox for some reason: high memory consuming. I don't really recommend to run Firefox in a PC with 256MB of RAM of below 256MB, it is really slow :(

Well, first thing is it doesnt hang like Internet Explorer. It is very fast. Security is tight compared to Internet Explorer. And like Internet Explorer it doesnt make a big deal out of small small things. Its fast to load. In internet explorer sometimes if we press the STOP button it will hang and when it recovers the page will be fully loaded. This doesnt happen in firefox. bookmarks and favorites are easy to organise. when i used internet explorer i never checked the favorites menu. cuz it was sooo boring.

I use fire fox as a browser proxy. I don't have to install it on the computer, just run it and put some proxy on it then I can surf here in the office but I still do use Internet Explorer. Thanks. Cheers!

Why? Because of it's speed. And also because it is updated to a new and easier way of surfing, or playing on the net.

Hey Thats right I also like Fire fox because of its better performance and the better security that it provides as compared to INTERNET EXPLORER. Firefox is a wonderful browser. I personally recommend it to all.

i liked firefox because its very easy to use, and i can even customized it according to my preferences. even the speed and security are a plus for me. unlike IE i get confuse sometimes as to what to do next. firefox also have this add-on that u can change the whole appearance, its really nice and cool.
