hobbit movie

omg, yes, i really agree the Hobbit is the only lord of the rings book i've read, and i really enjoyed it!! lol, i tried reading the other books, but they seemed so boring compared to the Hobbit, so definitely a movie...maybe someday...

well, the last time i checked there is already a movie of the hobbit. i think it's going out next year. the book was really a great read. it opened my imagination. now i'm ecstatic that they are actually going to show it on the theater. i can just imagine, it would be really cool. i hope it will exceed my expections. and i hope that it will be better than the LOTR trilogy. it must be. the book by itself was very good.

I do hope they will go ahead and make this movie. As the other movies did so well, I think it would be a natural extension. In addition, it would give an addition view into the world of Tolkien for those who won't sit and read the books. I would love to see what they could do with it.

They are making a movie of The Hobbit. It is due to come out in the US in December 2011. It won't be directed by Peter Jackson who did The Lord of the Rings movies though, but he will still be involved. There are rumours that Ian McKellen who played Gandalf, and Andy Serkis who played Gollum will be in this movie also. I can't wait until it comes out. If it is anything like the LOTR movies it will be amazing. The Hobbit is one of my favourite books!
