I'd go with aspirin too! My boyfriend takes it, and can notice the difference in how he feels. We also give it to our cat, Beatrice, every 3 or 4 days, (cats digest aspirin slower than people do) ever since she was diagnosed with heart disease, and she's doing ok!

My boyfriend was a heavy smoker, and his family has a history of high blood pressure. His hands would go numb very easy, and feet too, but then he began to take aspirin (low dose) daily, and it felt better. He didn't consult any doctor, because he doesn't have one...(He just quit smoking 2 weeks ago, so he may stop taking the aspirin soon, for now anyhow!)

doctor has given your boyfriend as he is a smoker heavy smoker and heavy smoker has chance to develop thrombus and the numbness is the result of thrombus so to prevent thrombus formation doctor has prescribed your BF low dose aspirin that mean 300 mg aspirin per day right

you can take any of them but of course before you do, you have to consult your doctor because you might have an allergic reaction to either one of them. yes, aspirin can lower your blood prssur but of course everything should all be in moderation.

I heard of it for people who have had a heart attack and that it can help prevent a second one. We have heart conditions in my family. My family has done the aspirin thing and it didn't do anything to reduce his high blood pressure. I also did it but also lost 60 pounds and my pressure is now normal without meds. Best thing those is to talk to your doctor. If you have low blood platelets you shouldn't take I think cause I heard it thins the blood. Don't start any med regiment without seeing what your doctors says. Good Luck

since the last 40 years, aspirin has been assigned different curative powers to suit the changing times. cardiac disease, pain, fever, and now you are saying for blood pressure. nobody seems to explain why in these years it was used for other diseases or symptoms and why it is not prescribed for those? Was the pharma industry went terribly wrong in their assessment or do they want people to get addicted to medcines? Any chemicals agent will do these things. it suppresses the symptoms for a short period. it creates a addictive habit. that is why certain medicines with a certain chemicals are prescribed to be taken for longer periods. best way to get rid of head ache is to take rest for a while. keep your stomach in good condition. check if you have good bowelmovements. if not set your stomach right. head ache is not a disease that needs to be treated with medicine. it just reflects imbalances happening within our body. i wont suggest either aspirin or paracetamol.
