Frankly speaking, are you happy with the answers that you have gotten so far in your discussions? Or do you think that you could get better answers? What about the quality of discussions posted. Do you think its par enough with your expectations.
Do discuss, and thank you in advance. I will be giving lots of + surely, because I love you all, my friends. Thanks and have a nice day.

I usually get quite good responses! I like when I get meaningful ones that relate to me best... but sometimes i get the longest, rambling ones!
My favourite are the ones with a story of theirs as they're interesting to read!
However, I appreciate everyone who puts the effort in to reply.
I have to agree that friends give some of the best responses =]

LOL, I know that there are some very lengthy discussion answers, but for me, I love reading them. But those really out of the topic like spamming on their sites info too much would be an eye-sore. But I'm still alright going through them all.
Thanks and take care.

I know one thing that there is no limit for improvement. One target achived new one's emerge. But still i would say that i have recieved fairly good answers to the discussions started and i have loved to know the ideas and feelings on different subjects by individuals from all around the world. I was satisfied that is the reason that i have provided the best response. Sometimes it happens that you recieve a reply better to what you gave the best response. Thats when the thing that there is no limit for improvement comes to play.

For the most part, I get good responses when I post discussions here in MyLot. Most are well described and fleshed out, and are four lines or more. I even get a couple excellent responders that I can have a conversation with within the discussion, going back and forth a couple of times.
I still get one word or one sentence responses though. I don't like these, but I don't always rate them negatively either. The one sentence responses I won't rate negatively unless they are off topic. The one words I do though. I feel that if you are going to respond, you should at least respond with one full sentence. Four lines or more is ideal, but if you can't come up with at least a full sentence, its really not worth the time to even respond.

Hi zed_k4! I do accept and respect all ideas and opinions of others and I do give them a "+" rating more because of the time and effort they gave in responding to my posts and as well as the discussions posted. I guess, I would base and define quality not so much on its quantity or logic or intelligence of the idea or opinion but because just like you, I love you all too! Just my thoughts dear friend. Take care and have a nice day!

When I started out with myLot I just went for discussions that I thought I could answer and answer well. I do not agree with just giving one liner responses - unless it is a friend who is telling a joke etc.
So now I have built up a network of firends who I think have a lot to offer regarding the quality of discussions and they in return respond to my discussons (haven't done many yet, prefer to reply).
There are some people out there who continually just throw in one liner questions that I haven't bothered responding to. I am always on the look out for new people and yes I rate all my friends too. They have taken the time to think about a subject and put down a question or just finding out information and I will respond encouragingly to that.
Thanks for this - as you can see I don't give one liner replies!

Some of the responses I get are fantastic and it is hard to choose the best one. Others I get are one liners, and I think if they put a bit of thought into it, they could give a better answer.
I always try my best to give a good quality reply, sometimes it is hard to come up with more than 2 sentences. lol But I do try.

Well whenever i start a discussion i get response but i usually get response that are below average and also response that are well good. There is a mix chance that you get both type of response quality as well as below quality response but we should generally try to respond on discussion with the best we know.

Some responses are outstanding (usually belonging to low stars and a few others and of course myself)
Some responses are good, meaning I've seen better, but still nice efforts.
Some are decent, typical responses. Nothing wrong with this.
You also have some silly discussions to break the monotany
And you get plenty of one liners or nonsensical posts.

The majority of responses that I get in my discussions so far are absolutely fantastic. I get some brilliant responses everytime. There is just the odd one that always makes you think "why on earth did you bother?" I think that they also expect you to say something back to it.

I don't start a lot of discussions. When I do start one I like to do it when I have time to add comments and rate responses. I always appreciate everyone who adds a response to my discussions. Even if they are a new member who only adds a short line. At least they have read my discussion and tried to join in.
As to the qeneral quality of discussions, I find it fascinating how much they vary. Every day I see similar questions and attempts to promote a program, but also I find genuinely interesting topics which make me think and question my own opinion. I love to read about people's lives and news items I may have missed. I like to see someone asking for advice and getting many helpful and encouraging responses.
So yes I am generally happy with the discussions.

Yep the quality of the post is rather more important either so what i stress on is the quality rather than the quantity. As i am new here i started posting more and more in the starting days but didn't get that much that was a big problem and i couldn't understand for the low earning at more posts so then i come to know quality matters more here then the quantity and then i only went for the quality posts and now i am happy with my earning even, so i really emphasis on the quality of the post rather than the quantity...what about you?

I am fairly new to MyLot but I have seen many good responses. The biggest problem I have encountered is that many people do not understand English and it can be difficult to understand what they are trying to say.

I am quite satisfied by the responses i have got for the discussions i have started till date. This is the reason that someone has been selected as the person who has given the best response. I personally have experiened instances when i have given the best response and i get answers which make me feel if it would have been possible i would have given this the best respnse too.

I do feel the same way too, limcyjain. There would be a few responses that I think truly deserves the best response and I would want to choose them all, LOL.
I think the quality of discussions here ain't that bad, and I stay away from the negative ones, because I don't think I have anything to contribute to that.

yeah, Zed my friend, I am pretty happy with all the responses I got for my discussions. And I pretty much thankful to all of you who supports my discussions. Well I think if I got a few answers then its better for us to get all quality responses i.e. what we actually wanted from that discussions, although if you got 100's of responses then you probably got only a few one's are useful and others just repeating itself.
And I always got 10-20 responses for my discussions so I can easily findout what I was expecting before starting a discussion.
And as you said above rating most of the users positivie, then I just wanted to tell you that, I always give everyone + rate whoever they are atlease they pick up some time to answer my discussion...So its pretty polite that if we just rate each response + so that other also can get a blue star in front of their name.
Have fun!!!

Most of the responses I get are well thought out and useful. Once in a while I get one that I don't quite understand. Sometimes I get one where the person says they're not really familiar with the subject, which is just fine with me. I haven't really gotten any that are totally off topic or argumentative or abusive (thank goodness).

The quality of responses is going down as people are considering mylot as a source of money rather than as a source of enjoyment. There are many discussions floating around, but only some of them are very good and worth replying. Its just a span of time where things are bad. Hope that we will see better discussions in the future, which are worthwhile spending our time on. Good day!

Most of them I am happy with, because they were relevant to the discussion, but one I have had was completely off topic and it annoyed me, because it is obvious they were just posting it for the money of being more descriptive.

What do you classify as a discussion just for the money?
