It would be nice to give him a surprise party. Contact his closest buds privately and ask them to come. Prepare balloons and cake. That would be fun! I'm sure he will like it and have a good time. It is not a material present but I'm sure that he will remember it for the rest of his life.

Hi there Marlene! Well, since you don't know his interests, maybe you need to get to know him better. I will suggest a dinner date surprise somewhere private where you guys can eat good food, have some drink and get to know each other too.

i gave my boyfriend a stuffed to during his birthday, a t shirt during christmas and a cake during our anniversary lol he doesn't like body accessories so that's why i gave him that stuff. try to pick any item that i suggested or give him a bracelet. i'm sure he'll appreciate it

you should buy a birthday cake for him, have lunch or dinner with him, and if possible candle light dinner would be great and you can buy a watch or anything that he can keep throughout his life, that he can use it everyday and that make him think of you everytime.

My husband's birthday is also coming and since I am jobless this time, I also don't know what to get for him. I want to give a surprise party but don't have enough money for that. Maybe I will just try to play happy birthday song as early as that day and sing for him, prepare breakfast and will shower him my birthday kisses for him! If you got some money, I can say, get something that he can use everyday and his favorite color too! Enjoy!

Hello, Marleneonly! Have you ever noticed if he does has a watch? Or if he uses a cellphone? Or perhaps a nice pair of shoes. It all depends on how much money can we afford. This in the matter of the gift. Gifts alone are nothing, you must show him love as well! Respectfully, Munhozmib.

difficult problem.don't know, something to remind him of you every moment he looks at that present.don't have to be expensive, put a part of your soul in it.

I was in this situation in February and I agonised over it. I wanted to get him an experience rather than an object because I know that he's really really picky. So at first I was thinking about getting him a voucher for some kind of extreme sports - there's plenty of websites with these type of gifts on. Bungee jumping, white river rafting, or something of this sort. But then I noticed that one of our favourite comedians were coming to a venue really near to us later in the year, and so I bought 2 tickets for that. And we're going next month! :) can't wait - Jimmy Carr :)
