We Finally Watched It!

Finally! After months of waiting... My boyfriend and I watched The Forbidden Kingdom today. It is, in many ways, a movie about camaraderie, loyalty and perseverance. This movie marks the historic first-ever on-screen pairing of martial arts superstars Jackie Chan and Jet Li. The film is labeled as an action movie, but it also appears to have a bit of comedy, and a whole lot of fairytale. I loved every moment of it.

I watched this movie last Saturday... i was actually waiting for it to be shown for a long time... it is good that they thought of making a movie with both Jet Li and Jackie Chan as leads... the fight scenes were great and there was equal movie time for both actors...
I think there where some boring moment and i felt that the story was quite dragging in the middle... but then... the special effects and fight scenes made up for all the shortcomings...

You are right... the mid part was really dragging. All in all though, it was a great movie!

Hi dolce_vita! I really am looking forward to watch the movie too. I really like Jet Li and the review for their movie is really very nice. I think I will ask my friend who is also a Jet Li fan that we watched the movie this weekend. Just my thoughts dear friend. Take care and have a nice day!

i am excited to watched this film the first ever happen jacky chan and jet li joined in a one film. Sorry i can't watched it in theater but i am waiting my own copy of that film to be delivered on my video shop for me and the rest of my customers. thanks for posting.

This whole Jet Li versus Jackie Chan idea makes me excited at the very beginning. Haven't seen it yet, but will go see it tomorrow. So hopefully it'll be exciting.

This is a very good action film. What a dream come true, 2 masters in one martial arts movie together, and not only that but actually fight against each other! This movie simply by the stunning martial arts is just so fantastic that you just can't wait for a fight to break out. The plot is very typical and follows out much like all the other martial arts films, but again that is easily made up for with the amazing fight scenes. Jackie Chan and Jet Li did a wonderful job in this movie, anyone fans of either of them will definitely LOVE this movie. Its a must watch, and you can even watch it again just to see the awesomeness of the choreographed fights!

This was a wonderfully well done movie and the two main characters were equally balanced and didn't over shadow the other. I think that this movie is a must see by all fans of jackie or jet. But honestly the movie is worth seeing in the theaters. LOL!!
