What types of books do you usually read?

i usually read non fiction beause i am such a history fanatic. i am interested in all types of history (i just finished a book on hiroshima and the story of 6 survivors and now i am reading the history of the city that i live in...)

Science Fiction, Paranormal Fantasy, Fantasy, Horror, Historical Fiction, Politics / Spy, Crime So that is my Fiction side. But I also read on the non-fiction side. Business, Theology, Sociology, Philosopy, True Crime, Biographies, History I don't think I have a favorite so much as a favorite at the time.

I usaully read books that are based on true events or reference books. I like fiction as well but not as much as Non-fiction

I usually read fictional novels especially contemporary fiction. I also read mysteries and the ones with page turning actions...

I read all kind of books. I used to read romance novels cause the English are bit easy. Then I started to read lots of mystery and thrillers book. I also ineterested in young adults books cause lots of them are really good, example the series of Harry Potter etc

I love reading, almost about everything from world news to a cereal box. But I love reading novels the most. I love spy novels and my favorite spy novelists are Ken Follett and Robert Ludlum. I also love reading Judith McNaught's romance novels. And as well as author Janet Evanovich.

I usually love to read hardcore fiction , but sometimes i indulge in romantic novels too. Although they are a thing of past now. Apart from that i also love to read some non - ficiton books like books on self grooming. I also love to read comics. ~pinks~

I am an sf/f reader. I do read mysteries, I like the series type where you are with one detective, like Tony Hillermann's Navaho detectives, Ellis Peter's Brother Cadfeld, Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum, heck, even Sherlock Holmes - my first love. I'll read a "trashy" romance if its funny, like Janet Evanovich's romances.

i'm a fiction gal as well. i don't really like reading non-fiction. it's so dry that i'll only read them when i can't fall asleep and don't have anything else to read. i'm trying to read all four of the famous chinese novels. just starting on the first one which is 'journey to the west'. very interesting book, making me miss my bedtime and wake up feeling tired. i usually get my books from the library coz it's too expensive to keep buying books. and there's no space at home for any more books. my dad is a fanatic so he has thousands of books.

I enjoy fantasy novels the most, I'm very picky at what i read though, but to me what i read are the best :D

Reading is fun. I love readig romance novels. But after the kids, I read Dr Seuss, Thomas the Tank Engine, and many kiddy books. Now I can add I read mylot postings to my list of readng materials.

I mostly read women's literature like Dorothy Benton Frank or Anne Rivers Siddons, or fantasy and sci-fi, but I'll read anything if it's well-written.

I read fiction as well. I like science fiction and fanasty but horror is definitly my favourite. But i also enjoy true life stories. But i do not like romance novels as i find that they all seem the same.

I like classic literature, modern literary fiction, good detective fiction and psychological thrillers. I read a lot of biography, autobiography, collected letters and journals. I like anything that takes me into another place, another time, another persons way of life.

I usually read fantazy books. But i especially like fantazy parody like discworld series and Neil Geiman books.
