best f2p money making method

i'd rather make money that makes use of ur skill.... what is the point of making money in such a way that doesnt really give u much xp. the rune essence that u mine for rune running only gives u 5 xp per essence which is not great. and what will u actually spend the money upon if ur skills are noobish.. anyways, i ll tell some ways of making money that i had used or i still use in f2p... 1) woocutting... one of the most common skill that people can easily train up to level 60 to cut yews. 2) fishing and cooking fish... level up to catch lobsters or swordfish.. and also cook them. both of these sell for a good value (although this walue has dropped quite alot after the grand exchange update). it's not really one of the quickest ways to make money since u can only catch these fish in karamja and there is no bank nearby in f2p worlds. 3) mine coals. there is always high demand of coal in grand exchange. mine lots and lots of coal. and if u r level 60 in mining then u can enter the mining guild which is full of coal mines. it is one of the best ways to make money on f2p worlds in my opinion. 4) smith armour and sell/high alchemy. well i am not much fond of smithing as levelling it up is a bit hectic... but when u can make it up to the level where u can make steel platebodies, u can actually make quite some money. u can high alchemy steel platebodies for 1200gp each. if u level further up... u could sell adamant weapons and armour but it is extremely time consuming to reach that level (and i havent yet) 5) fight monsters that give good drops. well this one applies to high level players on f2p. if u are level 60+ then u should kill moss giants and sell the big bones. they also drop black shields and mith swords. once u r in the lvl 80s, go kill lesser demons in the karamja volcano, they drop rune med helms sometimes. u can also go to the new dungeon north of barbarian village and kill the level 83 cockroach soldiers. thy are by far the best monster to kill on f2p in terms of loot since they drop lots and lots of gold, lots of law runes and the rare drops include rune square shield and rune scimitars! 6) sell off unwanted or excess runes (like law runes that sell for 250-300ea in the grand exchange) 7) play fist of guthix and get the prizes. uncharge them and sell them... since the game is new so the items have quite high values... i personally dont like the items at all as they dont really provide that rewarding stats and there is this problem of having them charged time after time so that's require u to play fist of guthix again and again... well... just today i sold my rune berserker for 112k gp. i think it was worthed 70k more a week ago... well.. that's all the money making techniques i can think of right now! have fun!

those ideas are good but a really good way to make money in rs is to either woodcut(gets really boring)or follow these instructions 1. must have 30 smithing (if you dont do knights sword it gets you from 1-29) 2. you must go to the ge(if you have some money already/low level mining)or you can go to your favorite mining spot that has coal and iron i suggest dwarven mines because it is so close to the bank. 3.buy or mine alot of coal and then half as much iron 4.go to the desert and smith steel bars(this is a great place because the smithing thing is so close to the bank) 4b. you can either make this into armour in varrock or sell as bars 5. go to ge and sell the bars thanks for reading please be sure to ask any questions(but it shouldn't be to confusing) also i would just like to point out that the longer you write the more money you get on mylot so i would just like to thank some people such as mylot, my cousin for introducing me to runescape(that i already have beat in every skill and last but not least JaGex for creating runescape the massivly multiplayered online game that which i own no part of in any way and enjoy playing it for fun on good old saterdays

personally, I wouldn't go mining and smithing unless you had a lot of spare time on your hands. Some good methods are: Air running, which gets you about 2.5K I think for each run. Wood cutting is probably better as well, I suggest you get that up and keep at it, that way you earn skilling levels and money at the same time.

I had 4.5M when the grand exchange opened. After that, I would spend about 5 minutes there each day. In a few months, I had 9M (twice as much). This averages out to about 400k an hour. When I had this, I got really lucky and made 4M in 3 days (spending 10 minutes each day). I stopped keeping track of prices a little while ago, but I had 14.7M when I stopped.

Mining is the best. You need: - Pickaxe - At least mining level 30+ 1. Mine like 100 coal at Barbarian Village. 2. Mine 50 iron at Varrock. 3. Smelt them and sell them at G.E. You will get like 50k. I got 300k in about 2 days doing that.

I quit playing but air running in F2p and law running in p2p are great methods. Back in the day when law runes were 1k each, I made a million gp a day law running!
