Runescape vs world of warcraft

lol, truth is, i've never played WOW before, but i definitely enjoyed playing runescape...and looking at ur facts, i think i would prefer runescape anyways...i seriously can't afford to pay $15 a month just to play an online game, to me that's kind of pointless, so i'd say runescape

well. i havent played WoW and i dont intend to play it either because of the $15 dollar monthly fee.. that is way too steep and people who play it, warned me that it is way too addicting.. so i really dont wanna try it out... i v seen some videos of the game on youtube. didn't understand it much but i got an idea that it is a bit more complex than runescape (and it somehow didnt appeal me because i like things simple and straight forward). i love runescape because it's simple and works even on a slow internet connection. i usually play f2p but i take up membership for a month during my summer vacations since that is the only time i can play it for hours and hours... since i play occasionally, so a big NO for WoW cause it has no f2p. so my vote goes to runescape. btw... i am going to get a guild wars game this summer. it looks better than runescape and it focuses more on combat and player versus player combat. there is not much of levelling up required for the character as well and u can have upto 4 characters simultaneously. i played the trial version and i really liked that game.

Can a person who has never eaten a hot dog can honestly say hamburgers taste better than a hot dog? ****NO**** Therefore, one cannot honestly declare WoW is worse then Runescape unless you played them both....it is based all on guesswork and assumption, and worth nothing. I have played both Runescape and WoW. The one bad things I see that is being pointed out is that 15.00 per month is too much for unemployed kids/adults to pay or mommy + daddy wont use their credit cards for a game, and lastly the download is too much for the old dinosaur PC that some are still using. Runescape doesnt evolve, there are no patches that extends the storyline, that corrects bugs, that allows new discoveries....WoW does patches for free. Runescape also charges a monthly fee if you want to get the full effect of the Ruescape world...so the bad things about monthly fee is moot.

Well, I guess this is a pro-Runescape thread but I'll try my best. I'd prefer WoW over Runescape anyday. Yes it does have a monthly fee but doesnt any service that has lots to offer? How about your internet connection, do you not pay any monthly fee to maintain it? How about your cable TV? I bet it's not free. Now about the overall quality of both games, WoW pawns Runescape any day, especially in gameplay and lore content. You just have lots and lots of things to do in WoW that a day won't be enough to finish the things you want done. Also, WoW story is so immersive that you just can't get enough of it and it's dynamic and evolving. It's not just a game in a hollow shell that only offers game features and new stuff, it offers a whole lot more and the bulk of it is at the story. Overall, I'd prefer WoW even though it has a monthly fee. I'd pay for excellent service any day. Peace :)

In my opinion, Runescape is just an autumn leaf. Blown away. I don't really like the game Runescape anymore because of it's game play the system and everything, clearly, I believe the game is ruined. But, I'm not too fond of World of Warcraft either. It's just way too expensive in my opinion, but people think that it's worth it with all the up dates and stuff.

Of course I've played RS which I think is pretty Awesome and since I've never played WOW It's obvious I think Runescape is Better

i think that runescape is a much better game because 1 you can choose your class, or all classes, not have to pay unless you are a mem which is only $5 a month $10 less than WOW, and basically do everything you can do on WOW in the game.

WoW is better than runescape but only because you have to pay money and the WoW private servers aren't that good..

everyone been saying how WOW cost 15 a month, well actually its more closer to 18 and i think u find it cost that for 2 months subscription, so therefore its approximately 8 pounds per month. :D Anyway i can not compare as i never played Runescape.. I prefer guildwars which is totally FREE which is even a bigger saving per month hehe

Runescape is better.I havent play wow either.But I know runescape is better.Wow sounds better though,sounds alot more fun,but too expensive.
