What does it take for a Man to be honest?

When a guy likes you, then why can he not just be honest and say "I Like You", instead we end up with the mixed signals and the constant not knowing where we stand? Is it a man thing? And what does a woman have to do, to get the answer?

Well if he knew a girl liked him back (and its actually honest) then that cuts half of the nonsense down right there. Its the same with some women and how they can't be honest in this department either. Plenty of games (mixed signals, "fooled ya", etc) are played there too...
