Have any of you heard of in home walking or aerobic walking? I have been doing in home walking for 5 mos. and I've lost 15 lbs so far. I walk 2 miles in 30 minutes Mon-Friday and take sat and sunday off. Its really easy, you do it in the privacy of your own home, rain or shine, you can walk anytime you want to. It really works..I think I lost 5 lbs the first week. This lady that does this has all kinds of other dvd's, I think I might be able to start the 3 mile walk soon. Just wondering if anyone else has heard of this. I love it...

Well the one I'm using now is called"Walk Away the Pounds"...one and two mile walk, I also use the "Walk Slim Fast Start" its a 1 and 2 mile walk also but its a little faster the other one, I just alternate them. I do one 3 days a week and the other 2 days a week. .

huh I will have to look them up and give them a try. I would rather walk indoors especially if it is cold out or raining.

I really like it...its fun and easy and different. This is the only thing I've used where I've actually seen results, I've used the treadmill forever and I couldn't ever see anything happening and it gets boring doing the same old thing. Now if I could work on my diet a little better I would probably see more changes.

Congrats on your weight lost!
I've never heard of this but it's something I should really look into. Do you have any links with info?
I walk a lot daily but it's always hot in FL and I don't have a treadmill nor do I have the money to buy a good one.

Did you like it? I like walking outside also, but I'll still use this, because it helps me alot. If its raining out, you can still get your exercise in.

Wow, congratulations on your weight loss! I think I have heard of something like that before, but I didn't know much about it and I have never tried it before. It sounds like it is a good way to get exercise at home and get rid of some extra weight. I like to have ways of exercising at home since you never know what the weather is going to do, and gyms can be expensive! Also, sometimes I feel a little bit weird working out around a bunch of other people since I'm not very athletic! lol Anyway, the in home walking sounds like an interesting program. I may try to get a hold of a DVD sometime and try it out!

Thanks....yeah thats me too, I'm not a very athletic person and I don't like working out around a bunch of people either, especially ppl I don't know, and this is alot less expensive than going to the gym. I'm surprised that more ppl haven't heard about her. Thanks for responding..

Hello...its not hard at all, actually if you started doing this it would probably help your knee, she says on her dvd's that it helps you to have less symptoms of arthritis. You do it inside your home, you walk in place, like marching in place, there are 3 other steps that you do, they're easy to follow, and she tells you that you don't have to do everything perfectly. You can start out with the 1 mile and work up from there. The one I started out with is called "Walk the Walk", its easy, I got my mother started on it also. She also has a dvd for the elderly people, something that they can do. Right now I'm using "Walk Away The Pounds", 1&2 mile walk, I like it cause she uses 2 lb weights, and it helps tone up your upper body. I am now working on losing 5 more lbs, I've lost 15 already. Hope you like it...just go to www.lesliesansone.com or you can look on amazon.com the videos are cheaper on there.

Hello...this is in home walking...you walk in place, like marching in place. There are a few other steps that you do also, but its easy to follow. Its not hard your body..but it really works, for me it does, and I've tried all other kinds of diets, I always got bored, but with this I haven't gotten bored. You start with the 1 mile walk and work up to the 2 mile walk. She also has a 3 mile all the way to 5 miles, I haven't got that far yet tho. Her name is LESLIE SANSONE, go to her website and all her dvd's are on there. I started with the WALK THE WALK dvd...

Yes, I have not just heard of in-home walking but I have done it too. And it really helps because each time I did it I felt so light and relieved. Moreso, that I lost weight. I like it so much, you dont have to leave your home to work-out if you set your mind at it.
