To whom are you closer: Father or Mother?

I think I am more closer to my dad cause we have a lot in common. we make plans together. we have the same hobbies, and we like the same food.

Very difficult to answer this question,He! In my personal experience,i am more close to my father,amd i am father of a temper,the mother,sometimes because some of the things have a quarrel,but afterwards and good will. This is not that i do not get close to her mother,the moat important issue is a temper,my father and my temper very close,we have a lot to sav,their love to talk will be very happy! How about you and who will get close to that?

I am closer to my mommy as we will talk everyday we were always like friends even though she worked alot. Oh and dad if you are reading this sorry but you know im closer to mom but we are still close too of course.

I can honestly say that I don't have a closer, both of my parents and me are very close they each had there special things that they did to help me who I am today and we are still that close and they both still help me with anything that I need so I would say the same amount...I love them both the same to close would not be fair to the other and would hurt there feelings if I thought any other way.

I must say it is my Mom... I am taking her on a Vaction this summer and hope to spend quality time with her.. I dont see here very often because I am so busy (she is too)

I have a closer relationship with my mom as my dad has been away since I was a baby of four years old. Personally I think I'd still be closer to my mother even if my father was still around. I think boys are normally closer to their mothers and girls to their fathers, I know that is not always the case but I've seen it a lot with friends and family. And not to mention the terms momma's boy and daddy's girl.

i lost my dad at a very tender age, i was two then, so all i know is my mom, she is the pillar of my life, after GOD, she is all i worship and adore.

I have always been close to Mom... thats coz she raised us single handed.. I have no special reasons other than that. She was the only one for us. Dad was physically present, but I don't remember him ever doing anything for his kids, not even having a loving conversation. So, it was Mom then and Mom now. Thanks for the discussion. Growing up I was always closer to my dad. My mom and I had one of those mother daughter relationships and had a hard time getting along. Now that I am a mom myself I find that I am closer to my mom. I call her for advice all the time and we have really found a connection we never previously shared. It's strange how the dynamics change as you grow up.

Hey! Both parents are close to me

Since childhood, I was close to my Dad but as I grew up, I am close to my mom as well. Now that I lost my dad one year back, my mom is everything to me and we are good friends. She listens to me, takes my suggestions and loves me a lot as usual.

I'm defnitely closer to my mother. My paternal dad was abusive and mother left him; he never - to this day - has tried to find me. My second dad (step dad) sexually abused and raped me. He ended up being murdered by his own nephew. My third dad only married mom for the money my second dad left behind (he was wealthy), and he was abusive. So far, the guys in my life have been less than satisfactory as far as the way they treat me. It's a wonder I'm not a man-hater or lesbian. The only postive male figures I have in my life are Jesus Christ, and my uncle. My mother is the only one who has shown me unconditional love and acceptance, aside from Christ. So yes, I'm definitely close to my mom.

actually i'm closer to my mother that my father, i can feel that she's always been there for me and she's always supports me in all the decisions i have made.i think she's irreplaceable.. :D

To be honest with you I am no closer to one, than I am the other. I feel the same towards both of them, I can talk to them about whatever I want to sort of, and our relationship has not changed any really over the years except that they more or less treat me like an adult now!!!

since i am a kid until now i am more closer to my mom specially now she has hypertension, she need me and called me that i'm not leave him. i love my mom most, than anything offers in the world. based on psychology son is closer to the mother and daughter is closer to the father but sometimes i won't work.

My mum is closer to me.And this is because of the love,care and affections she has for me.I discuss anything with my mum.She is a caring mum
