Is there a graceful way to pass gas? Are you someone who just lets -er- rip if the feeling overwhelms you? Will you at least excuse yourself and go out of the room? Or do you try to blame it on someone else? By the way, why are these disgusting but relieving bodily functions so funny?

It really depends on the people I am around. If it's friends (other guys) and family, well, I tend to let it rip without any warning to anyone else. If I am around any girls I avoid letting it out at all costs.

Yeah, you may want to avoid letting them rip around girls...unless its one you particularly don't like...LOL

There is no way for that to go silently into that good night for me. I just hope that nothing solid goes along with it. I've a stomach condition called GERD that makes things more 'interesting' and 'lively' if you can call it that. I can take medication to keep the constant heartburn at bay and I take constant fiber therapy to keep the constant case of the 'Mexico Vacation Blues' from confining me in the 'throne room' for life, however, accident freedom is not something I enjoy fully although I am 98% accident free. I am not soundless nor odorless. I just make darned sure that there are four footed things nearby to blame.

Its all according to where I am and who I am with. Out in a boat fishing for instance, you dont have much choice. But inside a eating establishment, it pays to be polite.

True, so true. So does that mean you say "excuse me" in an eatery before you let one go or after? LOL. Thanks for the response.

I go to another room. I leave the let-er-rip to males (big and small) because they do it so well!

Yes, I agree cjgrooms. Males are the true professionals. I even carry a small bottle of body spray from Bath and Body Works in my purse. You never know when you may need it.

It depends on who is around. If it is just me and my hubby, I let him have it. He always gets me at night while I sleep with my head under the cover--ewww....lol

I'm sorry you have to experience that deadly ones when sleeping. I've gotten those too from my husband. Thanks for the response, amyhendricks77.

LOL! amyhendricks77. I can sooo relate. My spouse has done the same to me while sleeping. It's so funny though. All we do is laugh for hours. I'm just able to do this in front of my husband and we've been married for a long time. He doesn't like it when I have to do it.
