It's both. If I'm on the road and need to get hold of somebody I can. But I find myself getting interrupted when I don't want to be also.

Helpful and useful mostly =) I love mine, I find that when I leave it at home, that's when all hell breaks lose with somebody and they try and try to no avail to get ahold of me. I have a husband and three kids and despite being known as a 'stay at home mom' I do not stay at home very often. Without my cell, nobody would be able to regularly get ahold of me. I am also horrible with directions and get lost often, so having a phone helps remedy that - I can call for help or have directions texted.
If I don't want to be disturbed, I will leave my phone in a locker or in the car rather than keep it on me, and then I pick and choose who I want to call or text back when I have time.
