I do need glasses to read , and anymore....I need them to Function.
In fact...I need Glasses to Find my Glasses first thing in the Morning.
Does any one else run into S**! first thing in the morning without their glasses? I've nearly knocked myself out doing this!
I guess that's an entirely different discussion huh?
I have Clobbered my self into the posts on the Bed , I've run into walls ( Often )
I have fallen over S**! , I have Fallen into S**!
and it all goes downhill from there!
So yeah....I probably do need glasses to Read!

Yes, can't read without eyeglasses, the letters are blurred. I only use them for reading. I take them off when I am driving or doing other things but reading.

I usually use contact lenses but when I get home I will wear my glasses (after taking out my contact lenses first though!! Hee hee!), otherwise I can't see anything very clearly! So in answer to your question - yes, I use glasses to read.

I do use glasses for reading and for using the computer. My vision is very good for distance things, but my right eye is weaker than my left, and so it strains to keep up, giving me a headache. But with my glasses, I don't get headaches anymore.

I have glasses, alas bifocals even (getting old??). Sometimes I read with them, but if I forget to take them upstairs to bed with me, I am way to lazy to go down and get them, so I manage, at least for now. I do use them at work at the computer and they cut down on the headaches.

I used to have terrible vision and could not see anything at a distance. I usually used contacts and just glasses at night before I went to bed. I didn't need them for reading though. I got surgery four years ago though and am happy to say I now don't need anything to see. I'm sure I'll eventually need them as I get older but I am loving not having anything for now.

I don't need the glasses to read. But it is better for me to use glasses to watch TV as I am near-sighted. I heard that near-sighted people don't need glasses to read when they grow old. I don't know whether it is true or not, but one day I shall know it.
