I know that walking is good for you, but having 4 little kids running around, I feel as though I do nothing but walk, even if it is in circles! lol.

I was pretty tired myself to trying to keep up with the both of them, they are only Two, not even 2 they will be 2 June 12th. Have a nice afernoon.

I started my morning off by cutting my grass. I will have to do this now that it is warm and it takes me about one and a half hours to do. SO I figure I got my exercise in for the day. Walking is good for many things it also helps reduce stress. Were you the one that started a discussion a while back about colon cleanse? If so, did you ever do it. That will help you kick boost your weight loss. I just saw a commercial on TV about dual cleanse to cleanse your colon. Anyone that wants to feel better that is fatigued, lose weight or have indigestion just to name of few would benefit from a colon cleanse.

It does make you have bowel movements more often. But that is what one needs to cleanse their system. What people don't know is that they should have at least one a day if not more a day to stay healthy.

I also love taking walks! Now that it is getting much nicer outside, I have been trying to walk places instead of driving when they are close to my house. I walked to the store the other day since I was only buying one or two items, and I have also been walking to the library frequently. I really love to be outside when the weather is nice, and I think taking a walk is a great way to enjoy the outdoors and get some exercise at the same time. Even though it is exercise, I think it can still be very relaxing at the same time. It seems more pleasant to me than a lot of other forms of exercise, too. If I can listen to some relaxing music also while I walk, then I can walk for a really long time without even realizing it! Anyway, now that it is spring and going on summer soon, I am planning to also try to walk quite a bit each day. I think I will have a little more time on my hands over the summer, so that is my plan! :)

Walking and running early in the morning is very good to our health and body. Because of the temperature of the climate and the cold weather of the morning that make balance to the temperature of our body heat.

I love to walk but I don't prefer to do it this weekend as it is rather cool here. I also would not have been up at 6 a.m. today as I am off work and used the day to sleep in. I need to lose a few pounds this summer so I may also go walking soon. I have heard that it is very good exercise and that the pounds will shed fairly fast that way.

Glad to find so many people that like to walk which is one of my favorite things to do. I don't walk a long ways, but try to do it two or three times a day and most of the time, my animals go with me which is super fun. I look like the Pied Piper with goats, donkeys, dogs and cats all following me around the 5 acres. So we should all walk together as Marcia has suggested and report every now and then how we are doing.

I love walking this time of year, not only is it good for you but everything is so fresh. I try not to think of walking as exercise otherwise it puts me off, instead I think of it as a hobby. I can be really bad at ensuring I walk regularly but I have started a new office job where I sit all day so I walk at lunch just for something different to do.

It is very good for you is walking, not only do you lose weight if you walk at a good brisk pace, but you get toned up in your legs too. I do quite a bit of walking in a day as I walk the kids to school each day so I do four 10 minute walks a day. It is good for the kids too and my 7 year old has really muscley legs and they are really toned so it must be doing some good. It is quite enjoyable too when the weather is nice, I love it, although I am not so keen on it when it rains!!

Hi marciascott!Walking is a very healthy exercise. I do that every morning and every night. I would always have a 20-30 minute walk in the morning before breakfast and maybe another 10-15 minute walk after eating. Since I am pregnant, walking has been recommended to me by my Ob Gyne. It feels good doing this everyday. I also give time for walking before going to bed.
