I don't have RA but my father did for many years. He seemed to find the most relief from the gold shots he got from his doctor. I hope you find your answers, I know that RA is not fun to deal with.

I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I have RA and I am not having a good time. I just washed out of the Methotrexate program and am scheduled to see my doctor to try the next treatment plan. For the pain I try to use natural remedies like hot baths, but more often than not I am forced to take something. I start with Motrin and work my way up to the hard stuff if it's necessary. I whine and moan a LOT. I need to make peace with losing my mobility and I'm having a heck of a time doing that. It makes me mad. I am not your best role model I have a hearty threshold for pain and frustration but this disease has taxed my endurance. Good luck to you and If you want to vent somewhere down the line look me up!
