Firefox is better than Internet Explorer

i was also an internet explorer user before. i just changed into firefox just recently. i think that was late last year. i was having computer problems because of some virus from the internet. i had an officemate who recommended using firefox because according to him, firefox is safer to use especially when downloading stuffs from the internet. and i download a lot of stuffs from the internet. so i switched to firefox. and i'm glad i did because its really better than IE. things are much more organized and safer. there's a lot of precautionary step with firefox and i prefer it that way because i wouldn't want suspicious stuffs in my computer.

Sure firefox is the best I have used opera,internet explore and firefox and firefox was the best.

in my opinion, internet explorer is the worst explorer i have ever seen, i used it for almost 1 year and i hated it, 3 months before i have just started firefox, i think its better in everything, i like firefox, specially when i save offline files, and it has the ability to restore your recently closed tabs, sometimes you close the tab that you are using accidentaly, anyways happy mylotting!!

I don't want to compare the two browsers but I will say that I prefer using FireFox. I find FireFox more convenient to use. I also like using it because I know that it is an open-source software and many people helped in doing it. :)

hello, i have a mac and i only have to browser running here. i like them both though. some sites i can used safari but some i have to used firefox. i like firefox coz it is an open source and they always have a new update to their software and have all this cool gadgets (add ons) that i can add on my browser to give it a little fashion on it LOL. i am not a fan of PC so if i will have to use one in a pc i will probably used firefox as well than IE coz i feel that they are far better than an IE as they update it frequently. anyway, i am happy that you are enjoying and happy with your browser now. you can explore a lot from it as well. takecare!

i have heard of it but never used it. how do you get firefox and if you do not like it can you change back to internet explorer?

oh yes! i agree with you. Firefox is much better than internet explorer. I am using that right now.

I am using Firefox right now and love it!! Much better then IE. I do online surveys and at times can only do them in IE, so unfortunately I need to use both. Believe me, if I didn't I would only use Firefox!! Yes, at times Firefox does crash but it's a rarity. Go Firefox!!!

The question I would like to ask... Is Firefox better because your Internet Explorer is not working anymore? Or is Firefox better than your Internet Explorer when it was working? Also... Are you using Internet Explorer 7?

i learned that there is a tweak to make firefox load faster, i have yet to try it though. anyway, i dont use firefox, i prefer IE coz it loads pages fater than firefox. and im still using IE6, i dont wanna upgrade to IE7 yet,so you can imagine how much better IE7 is when it comes to loading pages faster! although firefox is more secure than IE, i still prefer a faster loading browser than a safer one, besides, my always updated anti-virus and anti spyware will take care of that, if ever such problem arises.

I'm using IE and I realise some problem with it. It happened only this few day. Either my window would not open properly with and yellow triangle stating error or window could not open the site or something. So is firefox really better than IE?

I have used FF for a very long time now and I love it! I switched over because hubby made me...I don't like change and didn't want to do it...lol. But, I love it! I use IE when I have to (some sites won't work right with FF) but I hate it. I have been having problems with FF freezing if I have too many tabs open at the same time (like 20...lol). But IE always has a stupid spyware warning thingy when I open it and even though I tell it to "REMEMBER MY ANSWER" it never does and keeps popping up that stupid warning...ugh!

yes i too feel the same way ... and one more thing is that firefox has a big advantage over IE as the people who write trojans and viruses write for IE as its the most used in the world ... in that way its safer too.

i would have to go with internet explorer my internet explorer is faster than firefox all i did was edit the settings.

i also use firefox. but let me tell you, i use IE also. initially i had the idea that firefox is also faster when i am mylotting. but for few days i see its slower than IE in case of mylot. i use both.

My roomie won't use internet explorer any more after getting 2 Trojens using it. Foxfire apparently has better defenses against them.

Morning sophialin. I started to use Mozilla Firefox a week ago and found that it is indeed a better one and I am now used to it though there is something that I cannot figure out, like the spelling checker, which is still waiting for me to find out.

well I think is that explorer is better cause it's the browser that i've been using fo a long time. I don't know what you see on firefox that make you say that it is better than explorer,. I'm not even familiar from it

firefox is wonderful! i love it and its a lot faster and you can change it up and all that. i know IE now has a some of the same things firefox does but i still don't like it and i have the IE add on tap for firefox so i don't have to use IE anymore. cuz some sites won't work on firefox sometimes because of java

I LOVE Firefox. The only bad thing is that the rest of the WWW has not caught up to the Firefox technology, so I am forced to use IE. Someday everyone will realize that FF is the better browser and will adapt their websites to be compatible
