If they delete a discussion you started.....

I think the answer is yes, it does! Safest thing is to read the Guidelines and hints and tips and stick to them. If you get a violation notice from MyLot, don't ignore it! They are serious about making this a useful site - and good for them!

My points seem to go up and down, but I've never connected the phenomenon with anything I've done. There are tmes when I wonder why my rating isn't getting higher in spite of all the responses I make. I try not to respond to the same discussion twice, but when you get up there a ways in #s it gets harder to remember which ones you've already responded to. This is especially true when there have been multiple listings with almost the same topics on them. Maybe mylot will be able to come up with a way to block us if we accidently go back to a discussion we've already participated in.

I'm not make any discussion this 2 days i do responses and comments but my rating keep down especialy if updated time gonna change. and i read new discussion for today is not much change, even after mylot release guidelines i think people not carefully read on the guidelines. same like usualy they do double discussion same question again and again and mylot not delete it.... Sorry for my poor english.

I have also noticed this same this happening to me from the last few days. I respond to some discussion. But, Instead of my rating going up, it goes down by 2 to 5 points. I really dont know why this is happening. I guess we would need some more time to understand the new guildlines.

my rate goes down only if i responded to a discussion ive already participated.. yup some of my discussions have been removed too, (i dont know why).. one of them has a lot of animated images and so i think this is one of the reasons why they removed it or probably an error/glitch in their system.. dont feel sad somebody got somthing worst than you..

That happened to me too, but I didn't make the connection until now. Well, now we know what we can and cannot do. I think the new guidelines will be helpful to have in the future.

They sent out an alert about this. Some people had their disussions deleted because they where against the sites guidelines. If they where delted then you lost money for thouse posts. If you responded to them then you are did not loose anything.

yes that is what happens. I have not had a discussion deleted but i have posted on discussions that have been deleted and my rating went down.

Yes! i had a thread that i'd started went missing! and the worst is, someone replied to that thread but i just cant find it!

I think that stands to reason. I have seen my earnings fluctuate a bit, usually right after they were updated is when it happens. First they'll update, then go down, then go partially back up. I am not aware of any of my discussions off hand that were deleted, though.

My rating didn't go down but my earnings sure did.

I think they are related. I wonder if our Payment goes down too? I never did gather the information on that one or not. I have heard others say it will be effected also. Wish I knew.
