Hmmm okay 4 bedrooms (one guest, one for my daughter, one for my son and my husband and mine), kitchen, living room and dining room together, 2 bathrooms, a family room, well the laundry room is in the basement and so are 2 storage rooms and an extra bathroom. Am I missing anything? I guess I would have to say 13 rooms.. sort of LOL

Until I find a place of my own, I am in my parents' house for now. There are four bedrooms, two full baths (master bath includes a dressing room), two half-baths, a den, a living room, dining room, kitchen, office, and bonus room. There is also a screen porch which my dad likes to count as a "room," though I don't generally think of an outdoor area as being a room... guess it depends on your perspective. It's a nice all-brick, "colonial" style home. It's "huge" to some people, and your "typical suburban American home" to others - guess that all depends on what you're used to. As much as living with my parents as a young adult gets to me sometimes, I have to admit, it will be extremely difficult to move out when the time comes as I have lived in this house since I was four, and in this subdivision since I was three, so I really don't know "home" outside of this area. Plus I don't make friends easily so the prospect of having to meet and deal with all new people is scary, so I hope I do alright with it. Until then, I really do cherish my time here like never before.

If you mean rooms that people can sleep in, I could say that our house, like the rest of the houses in our compound only have two rooms. We only use one which my parents sleep in while me and my other elder brothers and sisters sleep at the living room.

We were like puzzle pieces that had to fit certain spaces by making certain poses that would enable us to fit on available areas. The first one to sleep always gets the space he or she wanted

bedrooms? We have 5, because there used to be 6 in our family - now there's just 3 so we're rattling around in it quite a lot. But rooms, we have loads couldn't count. We have one guest bedroom now, which has recently been redecorated from the garish colours my brother had it.

Well in my house there is mine and my partners bedroom. Then you have the largest bedroom which belongs to my three eldest sons. Then you have what they call the boxroom. My daughter and my youngest son share that one. We also have a living room, a kitchen combined dinning room. So thats five rooms altogether. But if you count the bathroom and toilet that would make it seven rooms.

I grew up in a house with 4 bedrooms but now I live on my own, so I only need one room. My apartment is in a big old house which has been converted and I live in the attic space. I like it because I have big dormer windows looking out across the rooftops.
