Soap stars-what do they make-are they rich?

I do not really know if they make much, but I have a friend obsessed with Days of our lives and she talks about it ALL the time. She is especially crazy about the John Black character. I do not know where she gets them, but there are posters of him all over her house! The really weird thing about my friend's obsession is whenever she goes on a date, she compares her men to him. Since she is a dear to me, I listen to her ramblings. She has told before that soap stars make a ton of money and they do not have to work as hard as movie stars.

From what I have heard it depends on how long they have been on the show and how many episodes they do and how well known they are. They make a couple thousand a show and yes they are rich.

Hi! I dont really have an exact figure and I dont think that they publish it in the internet. Maybe there are some sites who have connections and have the authority to publish such information but you'll have to search for them because I dont really know any. I think they are rich. I can say this because surely they have other jobs and sidelines like other film roles, businesses or endorsements. They are tv personalities and surely they get paid for everything they do. In case of the Days of Our Lives stars, maybe they make a lot of money. It is after all I think the longest running soap opera right?I know that they are 40 years(?) on tv and still running. Shows like these have budgets and considering their 'seniority' in the soap opera tv shows business then they might be making more than the other shows. I hope that helps, goodluck in your quest.^_^
