I always fall asleep with the T.V. on. I need the noise or something.I will wake up in the middle of the night it will still be on. Do you fall asleep with your T.V. on?I do not have a timer on mine that will turn it off at a certain time.

My husband can't sleep without the tv in the bedroom on and so ours stays on a lot of the time. When he is gone on business, I shut it off. It seems as though it really doesn't effect the electric bill but I am sure that it could. I don't have a timer either or I would set it and see if he would sleep when it went off.

I leave my radio on all night. I don't have a TV in my room. I need the talk radio stations to sleep with. If I have music on the radio, I listen to it and can't sleep at all. Sometimes my Josie cat sleeps on the radio.

hello sunkissed, yes as a matter of fact i do sleep with the tv on. my sister and i share the same room and she we placed her tv in my room so we could share it now. every time before i sleep i watch a few tv shows and put the tv on timer for about 30mins. i cant seem to sleep well too when its too much quiet. lol. its weird but i guess i grew up with it then. sometimes i would also wake up in the middle of the night or at dawn and turn the tv back on more or less on 10-20 mins this time and go back to sleep. even the sound of the electric fan or the airconditioning system outside is not a good enough sound for me. lol

Well I am much like you. But i do not turn my t.v. off at night, so whenever I get up, it is still on for me to hear and watch.

Yes, I always do. I can't help but fall asleep while watching TV. The sounds are like a lullabye to me. Well, if it's something I really am interested in I can force myself to stay awake. But if it's a football game, I can't stay up.

I have had insomnia for quite some time, and I don't like to take pills if I can help it. A while ago my sister told me she goes to sleep easier if she keeps her TV on. It made sense to me, because when I was very young, I would fall asleep everytime the air conditioner kicked on. When the air conditioner wasn't on, I found it hard to go to sleep without the noise. So I tried it, and now I always leave my TV on when I go to sleep. I still have trouble sleeping, but it does help.

Sounds lot like me. It has something to do with the noise for me also.

I can say I have gotten groggy with the TV on in the dark at night when it is time to go to bed. I don't think I have ever fallen fully asleep, however. I have always been in the habit of turning everything off before that happens.
