When did you child start walking?

Hey our kids are the same age. My son is 15 months old too. He started walking at about 11 months. If your doctor is not concerned, then I wouldn't be. Is she cruising along the furniture yet?

My son began to walk at 12 months the day after his firt birthday party!

Bailey started walking around 11 months too. I was worried that she wouldn't be walking before her 1st birthday, but she made it.

hi Iam now a senior citizen but as a young mother my son started walking at nine months and ran at eleven but he did everything different from the spock book on when babies should crawl and so on. he had never read the book. lol He crawled at five months,when he was in kindergarten he was readin g second grade books. and we finallyhad to put him in a school for gifted kids where hedid very well. but all kids do things at different ages.

My oldest daughter started walking at 15 months right after her baby sister was born it only took her like 3-4 days to master it. My youngest daughter didn't start walking until she was 17 months!! I thought there was something wrong with her. I told her doctor about it and they said it was normal and that she was just a "late bloomer".

My son started walking on his 1st birthday to the exact day and let me tell you he hasn't slowed down since!!!

My daughter was shy of 13 months when she started to walk and my son was about 14-15 months.

Well, my baby started walking all by herself when when reached 17th month... she did a little walking before... but was quite afraid to do it for a longer length... but she was able to conquer her fear... and now she runs about all over the place... she is now 2 years old... and talks all the time... even in her sleep...

i wouldn't worry too much about it. she'll walk when she's ready too. i walked late. i was 2 and 1/2 years old before i started walking on my feet. before that, i was walking on my knees-and i turned out perfectly fine!
