OK so I have noticed that when people post long questions full of details and such they tend to get fewer responses. Now this may just be certain ones I have observed and not the norm. But in your own opinion, truthfully, do you tend to skip over the longer posts? I got to admit half a page is very daunting, but if it looks interesting I'll take the time to read it. What about ya'll?

I've noticed this too. Especially with the discussions I've started myself. But its not the norm for me personally. I will actually skip over the super short ones and move on to a longer one. I want to feel like I am actually having a conversation, rather than just making a bunch of random posts without any thought behind them.

I don't skip over long discussions or responses. I will tell you though that many members do. I have at least a few long discussions and the response amount to those averages out to 10 responses. Some of the discussions themselves have below 10 responses.
If you want examples, I'll post a few (uh...these are long, so if you don't want to, its understandable)

Other discussions from different members, I'll read those most times and the more interesting it is the better. This can even lead to long responses on my part.
