I prefer Chinese food so that I wouldn't be stuffed and later on feel lazy at work.In Malaysia we have Chinese mixed rice. The mixed rice could hold your hunger till about 7 or 8 p.m.What do you have? What do you usually feel like eating?

I don't usually have anything for lunch. It is different every day. Yesterday it was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Today it was an attempt at stir fry(basically just sauteed veggies and leftover steak in a pan with A1 sauce then dumped in a bowl). I considered making rice, but realized Mexican rice would be a bit odd, so just the veggies and steak.

We have green vegetables and cereals with chapati for lunch. Salad is a permanent feature in my lunch. I love eat a lot of fruits and salads as a part of my lunch although eating wheat chappati is also very essential for having a wholesome diet.

Hi farmaz, I normally would have our homemade lunch at home. My husband's sister is the one who always prepares lunch for us. We usually have plain rice to eat together with 3 dishes and a soup as well. We prefer to have dishes prepared from vegetables most of the time.

hi,i'm a chinese,so i only can eat chinese food for lunch, haha~~~I usually eat rice and some chineses cooking or eat noodles.Eating noodles will cost little time so that i can have some time to sleep. But i always will be hungry at 5 p.m.
Eating is necessary and important for everyone.Although i eat so much sometimes,i don't like eating. It's make me so affliction.I must to think what to eat.And when i'm in college, there are many students in dining rooms after class. It has another reason. When i'm a child ,my mom always let me eat many foods ,but i don't want to eat.So i always quarreled with my mom. It's not a pleasent experience!!

I now work part-time and finish at 2pm. My mum mostly prepares a Malaysian dish for when I get back from work. Today I had homemade nasi lemak. It's too expensive to keep buying lunch so if I had to work a full day I would bring some rice and curry to heat up at the office. I try not to bring dishes that contain blachan though, as it will stink the whole office and I have to consider others around me! I really miss having the variety of food in KL and always look forward to going home for holidays just so I can stuff my face with all the delicious foods there!

My husband and I used to have only biscuit / bread + milk for lunch then rice and dishe for dinner. But 3 months ago we changed it around by having rice and dishes for lunch and biscuit/bread + milk for dinner or we don't take dinner at all. This is to maintain our weight and cut off the excess.

normally i'll have mixed rice like you as well. but for me it won't last me that long cz my metabolism rate is high and i get hungry fast :( when i eat at 12 it'll probably last me till 5 or 6pm. also i cant have only have vege only i must have meat or i'll get hungry even sooner. since im in college, so normally we eat together. at times we'll have fast food when we're 'tired' of eating rice
