How true is this saying..?

What remains after all these years spent in living ? I feel this is what remains: "What I spent,I had, What I saved, I lost. What I gave, I have." What do you all feel -how true is this saying?

Very very true, you saved, you have, you lost. Then the cycle.

Well, that is an interesting saying. I suppose it has some truth to it somehow. What remains after you spent is the joy of spending all you got to enjoy yourself a little. I think being happy while spending is the best thing after all.
