Do you cut or colour your own hair? If your not a qualified hairdresser would you trim or style your own hair to save money... Or do you do your childrens? What about dying your hair - do you always go to the hairdressers to get this done...
I'm asking because I always always cut my own hair, and people are forever shocked about this. I'm no good at it necessarily, not skills, never been shown how to do it - but my hair always manages to come out of it ok - people even compliment me on it and ask where I got it done. Same with dying, my mum always used to do it for me, but recently I realised it's actually easier to just do it myself, and Im actually much beter than her at not staining my face and neck lol!
What about you, do tell? Am I the only one?

I have my hair cut in the salon, but as for the maintenance of my bangs I'm the one who cuts it. I also straighten my hair by myself to save money. Straightening in salons is a bit pricey specially if you have long hair. Its really not bad if you do it on your own. Even better because you know your type of hair and what hairstyle you really want to avoid bad hair days.

No you're not the only one, I do my own hair and do a few of my friends also, but I did train as a hairdresser many moons ago. If it looks good and you know how to put it right if it goes wrong then there's no problem is there? Although I do have a friend who does hers most of the time and she's always phoning me up in a panic because some thing has gone wrong (It must be at least once every two months she phones me in a blind panic - I kid you not!) Trouble is she lives 50 miles away from me now, so can't pop up the road to sort it out! I've now brought her a wig just in case! Honestly!
