With gas prices like they are, do you let your kids ride the bus to school? or do you take them? Mine ride the bus. What about yours?

Even before gas went up, ours still rode the bus. To me its a part of their learning to get along with others.

That is a very good point jer! Riding the school bus is a learning experience for sure. Many times my daughter tells me about little arguments that go on during the bus ride to and from school. The thing is, when you are on a bus you have to work things out. There is no chance of someone being able to walk away from an argument!

mine rides the bus, he got kicked off for 10 days and my husband asked me to ask the principal how did he think we were gonna pay for the kid to get back and forth to school. We got him there, but it was tough.

My kids are all grown up now(or at least they think they are). They are out on their own and I am a proud Mama of my 2 beautiful daughters. They make me proud both working and are wonderful assests to our community.

i personally ride the bus but it is overexpensive. The problem is taking the public bus would make me take an hour to get to school and the same back and would cost 6 dollars a day... Next year though I will carpool with 3 friends like that we get carpool in the morning on the bridge (usually 5 dollar fee) and because we have cars that are good on gas (honda civic, toyota celica, 1973 camaro (wait what? XD)) it won't cost much per ride.
