Having my own house is my dream in life. i have my savings already but still its not enough. right now, im still living with my parents. but as soon as i have a stable job, i want to separate with them and live on my own. but im still thinking if its better to buy my own house or rent a house for the mean time since i don't have enough savings to have my own house. if ever, is it wise to look for an apartment for the mean time or i'll just save my money to buy my own house?what do you prefer for yourself?

I really think you stay at home and save. Yes, it's annoying sometimes living with your parents, but that is the case no matter with whom you live. And if you live alone, you get lonely/bored sometimes. Either way, there are drawbacks to living lol
Remember, one of the worst things is moving out and having your freedoms, only to get in a financial bind and have to move back home. I've been there. Save. Save. Save. Save some more.
Then move.
:) good luck

I would had prefered buying my own house because it saves the unnecessary cost of the rent when you have your own house. If you can buy your own house then it will save the cost you should have to pay if you live in a rent house.

Well at least your thinking is good. You are smart enough to know that having a house is expensive and you are putting money away for it.
I own my house and I love the fact that I can do what ever I want to it. I can paint, tear down walls, add walls, change the carpet, or what ever else I want. On the flip side, when some thing goes wrong I am the one that has to pay for it. If my heater goes, I have to buy a new one, if I need new windows I have to buy them.
I recommed if you are going to buy a house have enough saved to pay your mortgauge for at least 3 months in case of an emergency. And have enough to replace the most expensive thing in your house. That way what ever you need to fix you can.
I need a new roof in the next couple years and thats expensive so we are saving for it now. I wish I had known to have that type of money saved BEFORE.

If you're single and still feel comfortable living at home and your parents don't mind that you are still at home. What's the harm with living at home? You are working and saving up for the ultimate goal of owning a home, so I'd stay at home and help them pay bills but still try to save as much as you can so you won't have to stay with them forever.

How comfortable if we live our own house but it is not easy to obtained it. I live separate from my parents more than 10 years ago. I live in a simple apartment. I learned many things for living alone. Of course one of them paying my own bills, minimize expenses and maximize my own income. I love being independent with parents.

If you are still single I could say its best for the meantime to stay with your parents so you could continue to save money. If you will rent an partment that means you will have to spend some of your money for the rental so you might need more time to be able to save enough amount to buy for your own house.
Though its your choice, you might want to live an independent life too, alone or with your family if you already have one, so renting an apartment would be a good option too.
