Friend Requests.

Yep - it happened to me when YOU put in a friends request to ME, and I hit approve instead of deny! Woe is me! Now you're everywhere and I feel like if I don't respond to you, you'll whip my tiny behind, and then what would I sit on? *sob,sob*

Aww poor bella - I bet it wasn't really tiredness but the excitement of your kick boxing that made your hand slip! lol I hope the person who had requested your friendship reads this and asks again and since they seemed to like you enough to request your friendship in the first place it seems rather likely that they will! I have done this but luckily I knew who the person was and was able to track them down in one of my discussions and send my own request! I think we all have our own views on accepting / rejecting possible friends and I never used to deny anyone til several people started spamming me the minute I accepted and wouldn't stop - now i am a bit more careful! xxx

I think that happened to me on myspace but I was able to find the profile again and add. I am sorry this happened, I can understand feeling bad, as accidents like this happen a lot. My advice to you is to wait until you are well awake before you look at your newest requests.

Hello bellaofchaos! :-) I don't think it has ever happened to me that I denied someone while I meant to approve. But, I know I was about to do just that once. In fact, my mouse was not working very fine, it's about the time when it starts malfunctioning and sometimes moves in jerks and stops at unwanted location. I was about to hit when I quickly moved my mouse and it was a matter of less than a second. I hope that the person in question sees this discussion and may know that it was by error. They can then request you again.

LOL! Fortunately, I can say that that hasn't happened to me yet but, I am fearful that it will. I mentioned to someone else here once that I think they should separate the Approve and the Deny buttons and also the "-" and "+" buttons so that we don't make that mistake. I have denied one person a friend request because they were barely active, sent me a friends request before they ever responded to something, and never responded to any of my discussions. Usually, I am pretty easy going about the friends requests but, I didn't get that one. So, I denied them. There is one sitting in my box right now that I am perplexed about. They also got here and got tons of friends before ever starting or responding to any discussions. They are hardly ever here and yet, in 3 short days of being here, managed to collect over 1,000 profile hits. I just can't figure them out and, since I have been watching them, they haven't responded to or started any discussions that interest me. So, again...why me? So, I hope you were able to find out who sent you the request and get it straightened out. Perhaps see if one of the myLot admins can track it back. I don't know if they keep records but, maybe they will have a record of it. Good luck! I hope you find your request if he or she hasn't found you already!

Lol, I accept all friend requests =O I would only hit the deny button if they have a picture that I don't like or something haha! Picky I know =p

I made a decision today i'm not taking anymore friend request unless they become future referrals,i have two friend request pending right now but i need referrals like everyone else and i don't think that i'm being selish or unreasonable.

Oh dear, never mind, maybe if they read this they will know that you are on about them and then try again!! I have never accidentally denied anyone, yet!! A few times I have approved a friend and then after I have gone and checked their profile only to see that they are not actually active, then I wish that I had denied it as I would rather have active friends!!

I think we all have, our hand slipped and we hit deny or our hand slipped and we hit the negative key when we wanted to hit positive , trouble is we cannot undo it so just be more careful the next time. I think too that mylot puts the buttons a little too close to gether so if your finger just slips a bit you hit the wrong key.
