I don't think you need to do something HUGE to make a difference. I mean if I were capable of doing these things then of course I would love to do them but I want to include those small things we can do. Because even if you can't do something big to make a difference you can still make a difference.
I choose to do things each day that I believe make a difference to those around me. I share myself. I listen. I make myself available. When I can I lend a helping hand even to a stranger.
If I could do one thing to make a difference it would be to inspire more people to live openly and honestly. To reach out and help others when they are able.

I wish people could be more accepting to those around them. I'm tired of hearing a lot of negativity on TV and in public. It's sickening. But, Cancer hits home for me. I want that gone.

Is that what you would to choose to do? I may have worded my question wrong. Ididn't mean out of those 2 options. But I think a cure for Cancer would be nice too.

Start today!!! A good deed and ask everyone to follow suit. Will make a big difference. As in sending a chain letter everyone want to believe they can make a difference so they respond, and then wait and see. Don't wait just do one good deed everyday. Follow your passion. And if curing cancer is your dream get involved and help.

just one thing itwould be for people not to judge each
other but respect each other instead for who they are'
and what they do. the world would be a lot happier that
way.

The world is a screwed up place, I would want to start at the top so that it will trickle down to those at the bottom. I beleive a large problem in our society is greed. Big buisnesses and corporations thrive on the needs and wants of others, mostly those in the lower class. These include everything from department stores to gas companies. If we could somehow stablalize the greed in society we could give way to other things like the problems of poverty and crime.
