Will you add ice cube when you drink the soda water?

I always drink my drinks COLD during the summer heat. In fact, I will try to pack as much ice as I can into the big mug before poring a pre-chilled can of soda into it! Really refreshing! Other wise, just packing the mug with ice, and then adding plain water into it will do too. Especially good when tucking into a hot boiling port of curry.

I always do, I have big glass that I am using everyday so I am adding 6 ice cube on it! I am satisfied more when it is cold! I am quitting my addiction to soda so this time, plain water only for me, sometimes, tea or juice!

Anyway I don't like to add ice cubes to the aerated drink as the ice cubes will dilute the beverage when it's melting. The drink will then lose its original flavor. I like only the chilled soda water just freshed from the fridge.

Quite definitely! I seldom drink soda water but when I do, it seems to only go well with ice! Without ice, it seems a bit flat unless it is already cold to start with.

I love soda with ice... in fact i don't just add two or three... i fill my my glass with ice first... then pour the cold soda... that is the way i love it... although some people think that is weird... but for me... the colder the soda... the better it tastes...

I like it cool without adding ice cube ... i'm not really into very cool drinks especially carbonate one.

I really can't even drink any soda without ice. I don't know why but without ice any soda don't feels tasty anymore. Like ten years ago I drunk everything without ice, but now I can't even imagine myself drinking anything without ice, especially in the summer.

I do drink my soda with ice in it.....I don't like it any other way. I'd even pass on a soda if it doesn't have some ice in it.....at home I put alot in!

I don't take ice in anything I drink. I have a broken front tooth, and it hurts like hell if I drink anything too cold. Ice in a fizzy drink makes it go flat too fast as well.

Me too. Especially when summer come like right now and it felt hot all day long. I love to add ice cubes in any drink I got. Soda water, orange juice and even Coca cola. :D

I have never had soda water...I just think it would be weird to have bubbles in your water :)

I hate using ice. I usually just put the soda in a refrigerator and get it cold so I don't have to add ice. ice dilutes the taste of my drink so much I can't drink it.

I love to mix the crushed ice in soda water. Ice cubes take bit our time to dissolve. But crushed ice makes the soda water colder within no time. I also add tinge of fresh lemon juice in soda water and some black salt, thereafter soda water just tastes subperb!

i do add ice cubes on my water but not that often...because most of the time i warm water than cold water...

i will have ice cubes with my softdrink when it is really hot and you need it to be extra cold,and to quench that thirst.yes it is great in the summer months,and in winter i do not use ice cubes.cheers sue

I am using ice most of the hot time.But soda water is not a regualar drink for me.I puts ice cubes with juices and other drinks like Serbat... When we drink juice from cool bars then they puts icecubes when they prepare the drink.Thanks Youless

your discussion reminds me of KFC and Mcdonald's. When I order something in these places, I usually order soda without ice cubes. Because for the same size cup, more ice cubes will take up more spaces for real soda drink, and the more water coming from the melt ice will dilute the taste of the soda. But your method is considerate, three ice cubes are suitable, neuther taking up many spaces nor dilute the taste. Good idea.
