Lately I've been staying up later than usual and have been enjoying the late night outside on my porch with other people who live in my building. Since I don't smoke in my apartment any more I go out around 11:00 to have my last one before going to bed and I'm usually not the only one doing it! I'm enjoying the quiet of the night and how beautiful the sky can be especially when there are a lot of stars twinkling.
Do you have a favorite time of day...early morning or late at night? What is your reason?

I agree with you. I prefer late night hour for myself because of the serenity and it is really quiet. At times, I would surf the NET or read my favorite novels.

I'm a late night girl:) I have waited tables off and on for years, and I usually don't get off work until about 11:30, so when I get home, everyone in my house is asleep. I usually need to unwind so I don't get in bed until around 1:30 or 2. I usually get online and work for an hour or two, or play Kingdom of Loathing. Sometimes I just watch law and order repeats until I get sleepy, but that can take a while. I like that show.
As a result, I HATE mornings. I have to get up at 5:45 to get my son ready for the bus at 6:20, and I am usually quite grumpy. I go back to bed after they leave, and sleep until the other two kids wake up, around 8am. Then when the baby takes her morning nap, we usually pile on the couch and doze/watch cartoons together until I can function without being crabby.

I love the early mornings, the sunrise the birds singing, the wildlife hoping around in your garden, the quietness the smell of the early morning dew. Things that you don't get in the evenings as your too busy or the world around you is too busy!

I like the late nights far more than the early morning. It's quiet, it gives me time to get on myLot, and I read the most late at night. Too many distractions to read during the day. Was that picture taken by you? If so, it looks quite nice. IF not, it still looks quite nice. When there is a clear sky and the stars are bright, it looks really nice outside. I'm half nocturnal and half daywalker. As long as I get my 3 hours of sleep, the less I sleep, the more awake I feel in the morning.

I am a night person. When i was a student i used to study mostly at night bcoz it was much more peaceful at night. When i was working in night shifts , i just used to go down for a small stroll in my break and i used to love to sit in the lawn and watch the stars and enjoy my coffee.

Dear friend,
I do mostly stay late night and that too if the next day is a holiday especially. But actually I like both night atomosphere and also the early morning. But I feel more sleepy during the morning hours more as I sleep late at night. I do also like to walk in night when there is full moon that slight light it is really a calm atomosphere. Only thing if there aare any street dogs or other criminals. Morning sunrise is also very nice to watch but I rarely get up early nowdays. I do like that before sunrise morning atmosphere too.

Yeah the night is very beautiful, definitely moreseo than the day time, sunsets are probably the highlight of the night.

I prefer the time spanning late night up until early morning. I like working with minimal noise and I like seeing the night turn into day, as corny as that sounds.

I love late nights. No matter how late it is, I somehow manage to keep my eyelids up and after a few hours, say 1am or 2 am if I just splash water on my face, I feel quite fresh….no sleepiness, no tiredness. I used to do that quite often in my college days. For most of the time I would fool around with friends but before exams, I would wake up to the reality that I needed to study, and study seriously. As all night-lovers know, night is the best time for concentration. I had a terrace attached to my room and every hour or so, I would splash some water on my face and stand on the terrace to enjoy the beauty of the starlit sky. The air was so peaceful, cool and comforting. I miss my terrace nights terribly now. with kid and family, I just cant stay up so late anymore. Given a chance, I would do it any time again. But I just cant keep up later in the day if I have woken up very early. I have to get up at 5am for my son’s school and my midday, I am quite sleepy at office.

I like it best late at night. I like how it's quiet, how people usually are more calm and relaxed and are ready to call it a night. I find it rather peaceful. I'm not bothered as much (and I hate being bothered..in fact I don't like people much) so it's nice at night not having to put up with so many people all the time.

I'm a confirmed night owl to begin with...for some reason most of my creative energies are better at night, always have been. For instance, it's 12:48 a.m. and I'm still in front of the computer and probably will be for another hour or so. I guess the quietness of nighttime does have it's appeal...no one calling me, for one thing..LOL

i like staying up at night. its much more quiet. not a lot of people and i can think better. lol.. the air is much nicer at night time as well and i dont have to deal with the heat of the sun. although mornings are great since you can interact with a lot of people that time since most are awake lol.. afternoons are not bad as well... around 3 going down when the day is starting to slow down and change to night time its nice...
