Favorite french fries

You can get french fries everywhere now adays. Do you prefer the gourmet, restaurant style,or the greasy fast food style?
Do you like the skinny crunchy, wavey thick crinkle cut, wafer cut,or the infamous curly fries?
Wheres your favorite fast food place to get your favorite style of fries: McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys, Jack N the Box,Carl's Junior, A & W, Sonic, or some place I havent tried?I would like to know whats your favorite and where you get them.

Hi! Wow! I didnt know there were so many types of french fries. I always thought of them as just that: French Fries.LOL Anyway, I odnt nkow why but my most favortie french fry would be KFC's. I love that its rich and soft in the inside but crisp in the outside and they hae thick servings. I especially love them when they are dipped in KFC gravy. You know, the one that comes with the chicken? I jsut love them! This might seem really werid and strange to you but I have really strange and weird tastes.^_^ I lvoe my fries dipped in hot fudge sundaes too. Or any ice cream for that matter. Yum! You should tyr it sometime, if you havent already.LOL! The second fast food French Fry that I like would be from Mcdonalds, jsut the right amount of salt and perfectly cooked. I dont mind the thin slices, compared with KFC but its all good.^_^

Thats funny the only time my mom and I ever had a moment was when she was sober and made french fries and we dipped them in gravy. Hadn't thought of that in a long while.
I also dipped my fries at mcdonalds in a vanilla shake and cinnimon rolls in my chili at school.
Guess we all have a bit of wierd..

my fave has always been mc donalds.i don't know what it is about theirs,but i'm addicted to them LOL
there used to be a place near me called rally's that had awesome spiral seasoned fries,but i think the whole chain might have gone under though,i don't see them anymore:(

They are all pretty great, but I'd have to say waffle fries edge out in terms of my favourites. I don't have a favorite place of fries though as I seldom go to them. Thinking of this though, the skin on full cut fries (typically found in carnivals) are pretty good too.

Crunchy works for me. And the crinkle cut. So, I like crunchy crinkle cut fries. Although, the large steak fries are awesome. McDonalds fries are good but, I like Wendy's better. Burger King updated the taste of theirs so I think they are now at the top of my list.

i like shoe string, crinkle cut, curly and wafer cut fries... i prefer to get my fries from McD.. so far tht's the best place.. also a restaurant near (1-stop, a mall in penang, malaysia) cz they gv mayo for u to dip in.. yummy...

Oh yes, french fries can be bought in any food stall nowadays. I prefer the fries that I cook myself. It's cheaper, cleaner, and newly cooked. I love to cook potatoes and turn them into delicious fries. I don't buy much fries outside since they are expensive so I just buy big potatoes and cook it myself. I am enjoying myself...
