Have you ever wondered what was no 1 in the pop charts when you were born?
Mine was 'get it on' by T Rex and my daughters was 'ride on time' by Black Box.
To find out yours go to everyhit.com and then click on the number 1's link at the top this will give you a list for the the decades (think this only works for the UK - sorry). Be sure to come back and let me know!

The UK pop charts were not introduced until November 1952, so there was no number 1 when I was born.
However, I do know which singers and artists were popular at the time, and they include Pet Clark, Jo Stafford and of course the Ink Spots. My father was a great fan of the Ink Spots so I have heard quite a few of their recordings.

I haven't hear of half of them, although I do remember Abba! Cool thanks for your response!
