Hi All, For those trying to conceive, how long have you been trying for and do you take any supplements like folic acid etc?

I take folic acid and iron supplements and do a one a day vitamin every day.. How ever i,m not trying to conceive as a matter of fact i just had my first child he,s 5 months old now i,m 37 years old and don,t really plann to have any more... Gateway78

I plan to start trying for my 3rd next month, but if it doesn't happen next month, then we're going to take a few months break before we start trying again. It's just that we'll be moving in a year's time and I want to make sure that I've either already had the baby by the time we move or I'm not heavily pregnant at the time. Yes, I've started taking folic acid and a calcium magnesium supplement as I'm hoping for a girl this time. You can start taking folic acid from about 3 months before you start trying. By the way, it took us about 8 months to conceive our first child and the second one was an 'oops!'.

Oh babydust to you too, I have been trying for over 2 years now, next step fertility tests. I have been taking folic acid for that length of time too hehe. Anyway as I mentioned above I do have a new parenting and pregnancy forum http://www.precious-babes.com - feel free to have a look xx

Been trying for 4 years with no luck been taking folic acid 800mg, and magnesium oxide and prenatal pills. No go yet. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/2222cc

I guess no one else is trying. We are. I should know by Father's day. That would be a great day to get a positive :) Have you had any success?

My husband and I were TTC for about 1yr. and 2 months before we got a positive. We lost the baby around 7 weeks, almost exactly 1 month ago. It was hard- still is... but it gave us the hope that now we know we can get pregnant. We begin TTC again this month; the Dr. gave us the go ahead right away! I'm a little nervous...
