Life is full of problems.
The more you solve them, the more new ones come up and solving problems can be very slippery!
When you have problems in life...
1.)do you allow it to control you? like you don't like to work or prefer to be alone etc
or 2.)you control your problems? It has been said that controlling one's problem is the positive and healthy way to approach it.
or 3.)you just hope that problem will resolve by itself. Not doing anything about it?
In my personal experience, I always control my problems, I never allow it to destruct my daily routine and relationship to other people. I can say, that with the support of my loved ones and God, I manage to handle any problems I have encountered!How about you? Please share your wonderful opinion! Happy posting!

Hello checapricorn,
Sometimes, I was overcame by the problems. As you said, problem always come one after another. But most of the time, I try to control whatever problems I have in hands. I just need to think carefully what the next step I should do to solve the problem and yes, with the help and support of people closer to me, I usually be able to manage my problem eventually. Life is full of upsides downs. Sometimes you are happy, sometimes you are not. That's life.

that is really easy to say, because you think that the problem you have encounter is an easy one, but when you have problems, a difficult one you will really can't say that you can control your problem anymore, especially problems comes consecutively. before i can say that but recently i have this problem and i think i can't handle this anymore.

Hi dimarkitekt! I have also experienced problems like that, I felt like I can't manage it but I always look up and ask HIS guidance, and for me it works best especially also if we have our loved ones supporting us, not unless maybe if you will not share it, so it makes you think, it unbearable!Thanks for dropping by and sharing! Happy posting!

You automatically give it a negative spin if you call it a problem, life's issues, or life's challenges are a better way of putting it, and are you up for the challenge?
I tackle them and look for solutions.

I take control over my problems, unless it is out of my control. There are many times that things happen in our lives that we truely have no control over. In those situations I have learned not to get upset by it, and I remind myself that I have no control over it, and it will all work out for the best.

Thanks for sharing palonghorn! I agree with what you have said, that there are problems that we can't control and facing it bravely will just give us more lessons and help us to become a stronger individual!

Hi checapricorn, good subject discussion. We all live the rollercoaster of life don't we eh!
1. I try not to let problems control me but sometimes I can feel overwhelmed by them all, but only for a short time and I will get back up again.
2.I try to take control and separate and deal with a problem one at a time.
3.Problems never seem to resolve themselves, I always take action of some sort. I make a decision, even if it turns out to be the wrong decision at least I have tried to do something rather than let the problem fester away inside my head.
I like you find that with the support of friends and loved ones and also my prayers to God help me through them and back out the other side.
Ellie :D

Hi ellie, thanks for dropping by and sharing your wonderful opinion! We will never learn if we will always escape from our problems so maybe as early as a kid, parents should include this technique in raising their kids, solving problems so they will never give up in any trials ahead!

Yeah, life is full of problems and they can just pop out form anywhere any time.. Some problems are not as big as wat we think they are, just that we often neglect it till it becomes a big problem.. ANd there's a saying, If there's a problem, there's bound to be a solution.. I do truly agree with that.. But the solution may not be the ones we like.. If we dun like the sloution, it will become a big problem for us.. Thus, the seriousness of the problem is depending on each individuals how they want it to be solved.. So i will control my problems instead of them controlling me..

I agree kun, but there are really people who are very pessimistic. I used to have a friend like that and It's very annoying no matter how you will let her see the positive side, she will always refuse too!

I have to admit i do let my problems get the best of me at times. Sometimes life seems too difficult to handle. I don't really have a religious faith to rely on so it's hard for me. Some days I am fairly happy, other days I'm very sad. I think everyone needs to learn to roll with the punches. Try not to let the bad times overwhelm the good.

hello checapricorn,
such a very interesting topic indeed.
i have been through a lot in life and i can honestly say that i always try to solve my problem (if you can consider that as controlling then i am guilty big time). i realized since i was a kid that the only way for me to survive and be happy in life is to fix whatever problems arises in me.
i have learned so much and it sure helps me to be a better person in the process.
most of my friends always see me as a strong person coz they rarely see me affected with problems or i always seem to have answer for everything that come up.
no i am not a strong person and yes i cry at night most of the time growing up but i never let people see that part of me coz i feel i have to respect myself and not let anybody see that weak person in me or they will take advantage of me more. of course now is different coz my husband will always ask me what is wrong and i have no choice but to let him know coz i know that is best for us.
anyway, back to your question we all have our own way of facing our problems, i honestly dont know what is best or healthy when it comes to handling problem, i just know that it is always best to handle it the best way we know how whether it ignoring (letting it go) or facing it, it doesnt matter coz we all have our own ways.
i think if i will have to relive my life again, i will chose to be the same person as i was back then coz i have learned a lot and if i know i will be this happy then i will do it again.
i have always take life then one at a time and not giving up knowing that after such storm i will see the sun with a rainbow on it and it never fails me.
i know my life is not perfect now but i feel i am almost there and i am happy and grateful about it.
takecare!

Thanks for that wonderful sharing jairgirl!
I agree with you, there are different ways to face or handle problems and what strategy you use for the other problem might not be as effective to other problems. It depends on how bit, small,serious or light the problems are. The bottom line is to face it as what you have said and solve right away! In my case also, I tend to laugh when i am with people even I have something that bothers me, I always believe that each problem has its corresponding solutions and blessing for us, since it will help us to become a better individual! thanks again!

Have you ever heard the serenity prayer?
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time;
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
Taking, as He did, this sinful world
as it is, not as I would have it;
Trusting that He will make all things right
if I surrender to His Will;
That I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with Him
Forever in the next.
Amen.
--Reinhold Niebuhr
This is pretty much how I handle all hard times. There has been a time in my life when I allowed my circumstances to control my happines. But that time has passed. I now ask God if there is something I can do to change the way things are. If there is, I do my best to make it better. If there is really nothing I can do, I ask for peace and acceptance for the situation. Many problems we encounter are beyond our control. If we spend our time and energy on trying to make things right, its really just a waste and can actually make things worse than if we just leave it alone.
I just try to be peaceful and joyful through every situation or circumstance I find myself in.

Hello Cajunhellcat,
Thanks for sharing. That is a great strategy of yours. Facing your problems in 2 different way. I agree that what way may solve the other problem may not work out in the other one. SO, at least you are flexible in dealing it!

I have always struggled with facing my problems by running away from it by binging. Not something to recommend that is for sure. It just made me fatter and didn't make my problems go away, in fact it added another one on. But I still struggle with it. I wish I didn't. If I was more spiritual maybe I could handle it better but I honestly have a hard time with faith of any kind.

Hi mbs,
I hope next time you will not run away or ignore it, just seek for a friend's advice so that you will not have an additional unsolved problems. even if you are not that spiritual but once you will try to talk to HIM, I know in a way, you will be enlightened! I am not also active in any religious activities but once I will just listen to any inspirational music, I can feel HE is just around!

Life is messy sometimes, problems arise then problems are solved. In dealing with my problems I just don't let it eat me. Problems are always there that makes our lives not boring. It is the hor's d ouevre of life I may say in short the appetizer. Without it we can never learn and grow so why worry too much where in fact there is always a solution to its problem. So don't waste time in sulking over but be positive because life is short to become sad and unhappy.

Hello vonn,
I love this positive attitude and wish evryone willl think the same way. I always try let my approach in life as positive as they are since, I know life is too short for us to miss to appreciate it, since if we will let all these problems control us, we will n ever see light, we will only recognize the dark side if it which is not good and of course not good to the people around us, who in one way or the other will become affected too. Thanks for dropping by! I like your words!

Hi there.
Some problems are just sooo hard to deal with that you just let them sit them and then feel their pain worse. I have left a problem here for 17 coming 18 years and now I know that it has been the wrong thing to do leaving it. It's to do with Abuse but that is all I am saying about it.
Catch ya later.
