What do you want to have? A cat or a dog?

I have a Siamese cat named Dolce, and she's awesome! She basically just lays around all day while I work(from home), but when my boyfriend comes home, she literally tears around the house because she's excited to see him.
I love cats, and have always had them. I will eventually have to break down and buy a dog, because my boyfriend likes them, however cats will still be my favorite.
I really wish I could let Dolce outside, but at the moment I live in an apartment complex, and the other cats here are literally the size of dogs. Dolce is declawed so I cant let her out for fear of her getting hurt. I got her from Siamese Cat Rescue, and will most likely get my next siamese from there.
Next step is convincing my boyfriend that 2 Siamese are better than 1...

That is great that you have a dog. I bet she is so wonderful for you. I understand that she's getting really old. Yet, she is still small. I hope she's still in good health. Yeah I had a great dog before. Yet, I miss him a lot.

ARE YOU KIDDING?
When have you had a cat meet you at the door when you came home and jump up and down wagging it's tail from being SO happy just that you walked in the door??!! I'll take a dog any day over any cat!

I would rather choose having a dog. I am not a cat person at all. My favorite kind of dog is a German shepherd. I used to have one before. His name was ROSCOE. He was a very good boy for me. I loved him a whole lot. Yet, I miss him always. He was real sick and in pain. We used to give Roscoe asprins for his pain. That was the reason he ran off into the woods to hide and eventually die. Now that he is in Heaven, looking into me.

i think so, but you know, dogs are best when the owner is here, dogs behave badly when they are with strangers

Hi, I have had dogs and cats all my life and love them both equally. At this time of my life I have only two cats. I would like to have a dog too, but can't take care of it. I think dogs take up more of your time than cats, they need more attention. Dogs you have to potty train and cats well train themselves to use a cat box.
