this morning around 11:00pm in the morning, i received a call from IBM HRD. He interviewed me over the phone. im not that prepared but i just took a deep breath and agreed for an interview.
it took us 10 minutes talking over the phone. Luckily i answered his question confidently, though some questions were basic.
He asked me to come to their office in Ortigas tomorrow for an exam. actually im having second thoughts about it because its not really my field. but anyway, there's no harm in trying.
please do include me in your prayers. thanks and have a nice day.

hope you passed your exams 5 days ago. being an applicant is not easy to deal with many difficulties you encounter. after rendering my 6 years on service, that would be enough for me to being employed. i am now more concern on doing a business that being employed. i am free from my boss instead i am now a boss.

I would surely like to see you in this job because IBM is really a good company with proven track record. I wish you best of luck and wish that you do well in your interview. Try to follow the basic instinct while attending an interview and do believe on yourself because the important thing in an interview is self-confidence.

Job interviews can be really scary. Just put your best foot forward and answer the questions with confidence. But the correct grammar and syntax should have clinched it for you dear. So what happened?

Goodluck!
maybe you will like it once you get there and talk to the HR people there. There is no harm in trying. It could be an opportunity for you.
Cheers!

ibm..hmm..let me share you my experience with ibm recruitment..
i was a walk-in applicant in IBM (the one in eastwood, libis) for an HR post. i took the exam right then and there. i passed and was initially interviewed on the same day. after the initial interview, i was scheduled for another interview the following day. and so i came, on time. and i've waited for like two hours (i know that waiting is part and parcel of the hiring process). but for pete's sake, don't ask me to wait for someone who is not in the office. yes, i was asked to wait for a guy who called in saying he's running a little late (or whatnot). so i waited---again. i went out to have my lunch. i returned by one in the afternoon only be told that the guy is sick and can't come to the office. whaattt!!?!!
i left.
