Do you plan things around TV shows?

I know some people have certain shows that they watch every week or everyday. Some watch soaps, sitcoms, reality shows, and so on. But do you plan things around TV shows? If someone asked you to do something at the same time as your favorite show are you going to go or tell them that you can't?
I am not a person that plans around theTV. I do not watch a lot of TV. If there is a series of shows I like I usually forget when it is coming on and miss it. And some stuff if you miss one it is not the same, so I usually do not watch a lot of stuff. I would rather watch a marathon if I watch a series or something. Like Coyote Ugly Search. I love that show but since I do not watch TV much I never knew when it was on and therefore one day I turned on TV guide and it was like the last 5 episodes on and I watched it off and on during the marathon and got to know the outcome of it. So, what kind of TV person are you? Do you plan things around TV shows or could you care less?

Not really if there was something I wasnt going to be home to watch I would tape it on the DVR. I do have certain show s I watch all the time but I am usually home to watch them fortunately.

I dont plan around television shows because I have the ability to record them with my DVR. However, if its one that I cannot wait to see.. I watch it on the spot and attempt to plan around it.

oh ya nowdays i m like tht. watch friends for an hour from 8-9pm, so i vil cook or serve only during the breaks. i cant miss a single scene. but if i suppose have to miss it also, i dont mid sometimes coz they put the marathon on sundays. but then sometimes v really can understand even if v miss an episode. but if i have something important i vil not skip it.

naaa...i just watch what is on when the \TV is on. i don't particularly follow tv schedules. i do have favorite shows but if they get in the way of an important thing to do, the tv is my least priority. at least i can do more things. the tv is one thing that keeps people from doing their work...
good day1

to a certain extent i do. i plant to watch tv but have something to do while i am watching those programs. (my favourites are law and order, the antiques road show, the history channel and the home and gardening channel) so i usually work on my crocheting or hemp or card making - right now i am pricing stuff for my garage sale - i am so not one to just sit and watch tv!!
