Audi R8...oh my good god!!!!

Anyone seen the Audi R8, its awesome. Here in the UK they cost between £77,000 and £92,000!!! From the reviews ive read it kicks a 911 into touch although I find this hard to swallow as im a massive Porsche fan, always have been after being the proud owner of a 944 and 911. But if any generous mylotters out there would like to donate an R8 in my direction that would be most appreciated

It's a stunning car I'll give you that, have you not seen it on Top Gear? I would love to donate but alas I'm saving up for my Bugatti Veyron - will give you a race when I get it lol!

Thanks for answering, There is one driving around where I live, in fact I saw it yesterday, beautiful tungstan grey but personally i'd have it in white. I look forward to that race lol

It is an awesome car, and I'm thinking it would give a Porsche a run for the money. I wouldn't mind driving one once, but wouldn't put that kinda money into owning one. I have fun most days I drive, my little pony (aka Mustang GT) likes to get up and run. I say most days, cause I normally don't drive that to work, I'm wildland firefighter and would rather get in my truck after a day on the fires than in the pony. lol As for me personally, I love the muscle cars, not the little sports cars. And unlike most females that have a Mustang, mine is not automatic, it does have the hood scoop and spoiler, you know all that 'guy' stuff LOL

The R8 V10 is coming out later this month or the next. It would use an advanced R-Tronic gearbox and a 500 + hp engine. Earlier this year, the AUDI R8 V12 Tdi diesel engine with 1000 Nm torque was displayed at an auto show. Did you see that one?
