I miss my mom everyday but on mothers day more so she died 12 years ago on May 17th I day before my daughters birthday and right after mothers day, I was 30 when she died. My kids like to make mothers day special and I enjoy it but I always wish I could spend more time with her, I would give almost anything to spend 1 more day with her... How many of you still have their mother?? And if you do please enjoy her give her a special hug and spend the day with her you never realize how much you miss her when all you have are your memories..

I lost my Mom 4 years ago let me tell you if your mom is living DO NOT MISS a Day to tell her you love her if she wants to go shopping GO drink that cup of coffee with her....sometimes I am ok then I have these days that is unbearable so for Mothers Day I light a candle in her honor that sets in front of a picture that looks like she is 16 ....cancer took her but cancer cannot take the memories

I'm really sorry for your loss. Myabe a great way to honor her memory on Mother's Day anf still feel close to her would be to spend mother's day sharing her favorite things or stories about her with your own children so they can get to know her though you.

Wow that is a great idea I never thought of that I share with them here or there throughout the years but I think I will do just that Thank you for the great advise.

30 is too young to lose your mother. My condolences. Any age is too young, I guess. I lost my mom 4 years ago and I still miss her a lot. My dad remarried which is weird but at least my step-mom takes good care of him. My twins don't even remember her and my older daughter barely does and that makes me sad. But I guess that's partly my own fault for having kids so late...
