My life has been pretty stressful the last year from jobs from getting into school, to finances. I feel like I just cant ever catch a break at all! I feel like everything turns into a whirlwind. And I just want a moments peace. I've taken up mediatation and that seems to help some. But what do you do to ease stress?

I would say with the years of experience that I have had, I have learned to lean on God's understanding and not my own, and that if God brings me to it, then he will bring me through it. These are the times that God is growing us to reach new levels.
What about the chammomile tea that you llked so well! That would help take some of the edge off!

Grandma told me that you were attending there and that Toni was going with you. I knew you hadn't lost your FAITH. Glad you found a place to go that you like.

to ease stress, I always get a warm/hot shower to relax my tensed muscles (usually my shoulders, back). Then after that, either I just lie down on my bed and stare into space, sorta just empty my mind and think happy thoughts.
Then I pray. After that, everything just goes into place and im free from stress.
Breaking away from everyday monotony is also good, a short vacation could help. A change of environmen (even for a day) works wonders. Get a massage and set a day for pampering yourself. :)

I feel this way too, a lot. I also feel like there is some sort of rhythm that the rest of the world is on but I cannot quite get into the groove of. I try to slow down and take stock of everything once in awhile, to sort of centre myself.

Stressed spelled backwards is desserts. Sometimes brownies and ice cream works.
Usually it's mediation or working out in the gym that helps me. I worry more than I stress. But then, I stress about worrying, which leads back to brownies, which sends me back to the gym_

I always need my moments of peace. I find activities I enjoy to take some of the stress away. Writing helps me a lot. That's probably my favorite creative outlet. Followed by my guitar, of course. I'm always playing my guitar.

I do use some writing some. but then sometimes when I reread what I wrote I feel stupid!

The trick is: don't re-read what you wrote! Just do the stream-of-consciousness thing and get it out!
Also, lying flat on your back and taking deep breathes is very relaxing, especially if you can do it outdoors. Try meditating on "this too shall pass".
And then there is always Prozac! :)

Pray, talk to God, tell Him your worries and everything will fall into place.
Then try to think happy thoughts, don't start your day thinking that this will be the same boring routine.
talking to friends and other people helps too, that way you get to unload your feelings or thoughts and not just carry its weight thinking nobody understands you. :)

I went through a bad period of stress two years ago, it was so bad I lost 5 stone in weight altogether!! I did not do anything for it, I do not think I fully realised at the time that it was stress that I was suffering from. I would not want to take medication for it though anyway. My main stress buster is a naughty one, I just go outside with a coffee and a ciggie, and that works well enough for me!
