Amazing image as lightning strikes a volcano

Lightning spears a plume of ash above an erupting volcano sparking a spectacular natural light show.
The image was taken in the Chaiten peak, Patagonia region of Southern Chile.
I found this image amazing and it really show's mother nature at her best.

I saw this picture too published in The Sun earlier today. It is really awesome and electrifying, and even more spectacular when I saw a larger version of the image compared to the smaller size uploaded here. What's amazing is the similar timing of these two natural forces of mother nature at work. In all my years, I've never come across such a phenomenon anywhere that had been captured on film or photo. Thanks for sharing this with us.
