Have you ever tried talking to someone and you feel they aren't listening because they don't ever respond back???

hmm. sometimes, i feel that way. but not all the time. i think of other reasons like, the person has a different point of view of his own that he just doesn't want to talk about it thinking that it might cause a clash between the two of us. or probably, he just doesn't understand or can't relate to what i'm trying to say.

For this issue , i have a few to say .Being a good listener shows person's respect which is one of the key essence of mature human character. But sometimes not. This frustrat me .My oral English teacher is a American girl.In her class, sometimes my classmates and I feel upset .When we had something to tell her ,we whisper her .But she always give a gesture of no voice or rude word 'shut up'.Under such circumance ,we student feel quite angry with her .How can she behave like this ? The result is that few than one in fifth go to her class. But why ? Perhaps ,the culture difference lay the reasons. I hope she could learn more about us and our country . In addition , I like American ,especially NBA games.

I fee like that most of the time. The thing is that I am a really good listener and when someone needs to talk I'm there and I listen without interrupting or anything. Then when I need to talk the people that I talk to either change the subject or stop listening. That is one of the reasons why I write here because there are thousands of people here on mylot and some of them actually respond to me. I really get frustrated. So I either write here on mylot or write poems or just concentrate on my articles and my manuscript.

Yes, I have. It's odd but I know I do it sometimes too. And yet I react like why aren't you listening to me. When I know that the times I do it I am listening I just don't know what to say or I just don't want to interrupt them while they are trying to speak whatever it is on their mind. So I guess next time I need to take a second to think before saying something about someone not responding to me.

I feel like that every time I open my mouth. It's like people don't want to listen to me. I don't even talk a lot either. I would assume they would be happy I'm attempting to open up every once and awhile. It's crazy. When I notice that they are zooming out, I just shut down. I stop the conversation completely. I figure if they really wanted to listen to what I have to say, they'd do it.
