Ok well I know im opening myself up to the jokes here I can handle it. Well I cant stop thinking about food today. I mean im not over eating or anything but food has been on my mind all day. Pizza, ice cream, chinese, burgers you name in im thinking about it.
Is this weird or do some of you have days where you just cant help but think food all day? Or do I just need to seek professional help?

You are pg, dear. When I was pg the first time I was so sick that every time I thought about food, I ran for the bathroom. But there were two more after that and food was almost always on my mind for most of it. Here is a crazy story for you (and it might help explain why I am so weird). When my mom was pg with me, she craved vanilla ice cream with pickle juice. Yep, she poured the juice right over top. The strangest part was she developed a taste for it and continued to eat it every once in a while for the rest of her life. She tried to get me to try it a couple of times, but I just couldn't. As for the professional help, don't think it would do any good, you have children. lol

I almost lost my lunch just thinking about that...and it is not easy to gross me out. During high school health class I was the one scarfing down candy bars during the heart transplant surgery video while the other girls were passing out, running out of the room to hurl, or sitting with their heads on their desks...even my teacher thought I was an odd one.

Forgive me for asking but are you on a diet?If so, that could be the reason. If not, all it means is you love food. There isn't anything wrong with that as long as it doesn't take over your life.

Well then you are as normal as can be.You are suppose to crave food . I even heard that some women crave weird combinations, like pickles and ice cream.

go on have something you can blame the baby for it lol. The best thing was when I used to get cravings for sweet food (around the 6th month) my husband was constanly saying too much sugar too much sugar. So I went to the doctor for my regular check up and he sais to me dont be concearned if you get cravings for sweet things its normal around this time. I turned around and said to my husband see its normal. Poor thing he had nothing to say after that.

I do not blame you at all for telling yourself that you can't get over your eating food at all. I know you enjoy pizza, ice cream, Chinese, burgers; you name it. I know that you can't live without these kinds of stuff. I would definitely go and seek professional help. I would open up to some great jokes.

Oh when I was trying to lose weight using the Weight Watcher's point system, I was thinking of food all the time. And all those nice recipes in the magazines with the ingredients I could not afford did not help me that much. Oh I was really hungry then and yet I felt I could not eat or the pounds wound pile up. I found that I did not lose that much, as I still had not lost my appetite. I try to avoid the kitchen as much as possible.

I know exactly what you mean. I have alot of days like that also. I had pizza this morning because i work nights. I could not go to sleep so I am up and I just fried me a hamburger also. I think I feed my nerves alot of times but I am not nervous about anything today that I know of. I think about food all of the time too very often. I wish I didn't. It seems my belly never feels full.

Same here. It drives me crazy because I would like to lose some weight and cannot do it by eating like that. I cannot sleep today for some reason either. I work nights. I got up because I could not sleep and now all I think about is food. I am wore out and going to try to lay back down though. I hope I am not hungry again when I get up.

Hello minnie,
I guess that is common to every one here! LOL, I also experience that once a month or more often, like whatever I do and wherever I go, my mind is busy and occupied thinking about any FOOD! and I can't stop it, sometimes, i end up cooking something, or end up asking my husband to bring me this and that after his work!LOL!

I can most definitely relate to this! Maybe not in terms of thinking about food ALL day; but because I have spent the last three years away from my home country, there are foods that I miss sometimes! Funny thing is that it is simple things, like fresh milk; and Tim Tams (chocolate biscuits); and fresh prawns..... It is not all the time I feel this way, but occasionally I get these urges!!

Move over and make room hun, I get days when I can't help but think about food. Sometimes it's just the thought of cooking the evening meal can get me started, other times just the faint smell of frying bacon will get me going.

Hi minnie_98214! i do have those days like that when I can't stop thinking about wanting this kind of food and goodness, while I am craving for it, I could smell it. haha..Just my thoughts. Take care and have a nice day!

Didn't you say that you were pregnant?? Forget the professional help unless they are going to take you out to dinner, just get to the fridge and hope you have enough stash to make it until you can get to the grocery store.. It wouldn't be a serious problem unless it were an everyday occurence..
Have a great day, Donna

This is real weird! Im the total opposite, I haven't eaten a thing today, just coffee. It's like 11pm and I dont think i can handle a bite to eat. I get like that when i stress and i have had a real stressful week, where i feel, everybody hates me. Sounds to me like you may be a real happy person cause when im happy i think about food. I dont think you need professional help, you feel how you feel and that's that.
