Where all do you carry you laptop with you?

Ok I have a laptop and a desktop and my laptop is nice for when I want to sit on the couch and relax and open it up and then type and get online and chit chat with everyone. I also cart it upstairs to my room when I'm tired and I also take to other peoples houses when I babysit. LOL!!! I think I could use it just about anywhere.

Well sweety I don't really go anywhere much - I just sit in my lovely new chair and relax with my laptop! I will be taking it on holiday with me although I don't think they have wireless so there will be no internet - it is still going with me! I so wish they would make a waterproof laptop so that I could take the laptop in a bubble bath with me! lol xxx

Have fun maybe they have a dail up connection that you can use while your there. But hey when your on vaca if you don't get on and your playing with the laptop you can always write the discussions their then copy cut and paste them here when you get internet access so that you don't have to do anything but easy post when you get back. We will miss you while your out. LOL!!

They may have dial up in some of the units sweetheart but we choose to be in the chalets where there isn't even a phone - more like a holiday that way! lol What a great idea about typing up discussions! I shall have to try that and there is a cafe with free wireless in the village so I may have to go down there and post some discussions at some stage during the week! Only 6 weeks to go! I will miss you all too and though I can't get on much I will spy on you when I am gone so I will know what you are up to! lol xxx
ps thought I would post a picture of the chalet - not sure if you had seen it elsewhere!

yep.. ive got a desktop.. twin system to mal`s desktop.. thats kept side by side his for gaming purposes.. and my laptop. that he bought for me when i was laid up as a crip for a month and was going out of my everlovin brains with boredom!! the laptop stays at the foot of my bed.. used for chat emails surfing. this way i can sprawl and be comfy to shoot the breeze and goof off. its rather new so i havent toted it around with me anywhere yet.. but im sure at some point i will

I was like that when mine was new it was very well centralized to the down stair living room or the bedroom only now I take it everywhere. LOL!! I have even let it cross state borders. LOL!!!!

ya know.. thisd be an interesting thing to do.. you remember the old suitcases that people would slap stickers on from alla the places theyve traveled to? start doing it with yer laptop! get little stickers from the different places youve been where yer laptop has been lugged around with you.. and put them all over the cover.. or the travelcase! i think if i do start dragging my notebook around with me.. thats exactly what im going to do!

Save up the mylot money and go to dell or gateway. Just ask for xp operating system since vista sucks.

I have not got a laptop, I just have a desk top. But I have already decided that I want a laptop so that when the weather is nice and my garden is done in June then I can sit outside in the sunshine, sipping an ice cold drink tapping away to all my friends here. While getting a lovely tan, well in my case going a lovely shade of tomato red.

When the summer happens I take the kids out back and take the laptop and turn on the music and let it play while we run around the yard like crazy people. LOL!!

i also take my laptop with me everywhere i go especially in school. i won't bring my laptop with me during some special occasions because i'm afraid that i would gonna lost it. i'm also selfish when it comes on my laptop. i don't want anybody messing around with it lol

With laptop, I only carry out it when I go to work or when I go to business or when necessary. Because whenever I carry it, it maybe takes me involved in my bag. With desktop, I only pick it in my workroom. If I pick it in my bedroom, the waves of it make me more tired after I go to work.

Well if I had one I know I would stay nice and comfortable on my Settee lol and not sit on the Chair that then causes me to come of the Computer because my Pain sets in
I would probably take it to most places myself lol

I think your christmas present this year should be a laptop. Start saving that mylot money!!!! LOL!!! I love mine when my back starts hurting I move from the desk top to the lap top and then on to somthing else LOL!!!

I use it on top of my lap...
I use it on the couch and if I travel I take it with me. I use it at school mostly.

i did that last night I played city of hero's in bed. LOL!!! I wish I was upstairs in bed right now with my lap top.. LOL!! My body pillow is an awesome laptop table. LOL!

I took my laptop with me on vacation and it has been used in just about every room of my house. I even take it to the bathroom with me. lol

Having a laptop is so convenient...but, I was just saying I really hate my laptop...and that my next computer will be a desktop. Because it is so convenient. Of course that was right after it almost met the floor because I though I'd unplugged it in the kitchen and I hadn't and it was pulled almost out of my hands as I headed away from the counter with it!! (My toaster was good to go, though, as THAT is what I'd actually unplugged!! ARGH! (That is pretty much how my cappuccino machine bit the dust...*sigh* when will I learn...?!?)
Anyway, so I have established that I use it in the kitchen. HA. I also use it in the dining room, the family room, my bedroom on a rare occasion, and on an even rarer occasion...my office. Hmmm...like I said way too convenient.
I would have to say I would not use it in the bathroom. Though I do know of at least one person here who does...

LOL!! Yeah keeping it plug in and trying to move is a real b i t c h. LOL! I have done that before .. But thankfully I usually have to navigate through the animals and kids and that slows me down so that it's not an intense jerk from my hands. LOL!!!

I got my laptop for 1 year ago, and I started to use it from my own bed room to living room. I think it's pretty good so I can sitt in the living while chatting with mine friends and even right now .. I am in the living and watching TV while writting in this topic!

I'm a fifty fifty person depends on what I'm doing. If it online gaming I prefer desk top but if it's just being on mylot it doesn't matter.

I place it in my room on the table . Sometimes I bring it downstair to the kitchen . I also often bring it to coffee shop . I never bring it school . My bag is already heavy without it .

I have to try taking my out in public .. LOL!! We have a lot of places that offer wi-fi and I haven't even taken it to them. LOL!!! I should though it would be fun to have coffe and a croissant and surf the net. LOL!!!

I just responded to a similar thread and this is really a cool question. It's funny reading the responses. Personally, I have carried my laptop to almost all corners of my house except my bedroom, bathroom and basement. I haven't brought my laptop to any of my vacation trips because I want to maximize my vacation. Have fun everyone!
